My corporation went inactive when I was on a small Eve vacation. The current CEO is inactive, I have no shares, or any way at all too become the CEO, is there any way too reclaim the corp, or am I pretty much screwed?

You might be able to petition it if the CEO quit.

Either use this page to create on from the website, or use the help menu in game

Just don't expect a response overnight. There has been a backlog in the petition queue for some time. Good luck.

Did they ever resolve this for you? I am in the same situation. Just wondering if it'll work out or if I'm starting over from scratch.

It is very very unlikely you will get a positive response unless your CEO's account has been inactive for a long time (read: years). CCP is very much erring on the side of caution when it comes to removing stuff from inactive accounts who might or might not come back one day.

Is this a recent event, like Inferno and the new UI (had to take a shot)?

I guess I'm unclear on how you expect to take over your CEO's corp, just because he's inactive....
Did you create the corp? If so you would have shares I assume.....

This and

I am really curious why you want to take control of the corporation instead of just making another ?

I've heard that 3 months inactivity is enough for a GM to replace CEO.

That being said, this thread was dead for almost 3 months before someone brought it kicking and screaming back to life.

OP Corp History:

CURRENT CORPORATION
Stoic Assembly Lines [STOAL] from 2012.05.14 16:22 to this day
PREVIOUS CORPORATION(S)
Aliastra [A] from 2012.05.14 03:52 to 2012.05.14 16:22.
Spectres Syndicate [SP-SY] from 2012.04.04 05:23 to 2012.05.14 03:52.
PlusEight [PLUS8] from 2011.04.25 04:51 to 2012.04.04 05:23.
Federal Navy Academy [FNA] from 2011.04.22 21:47 to 2011.04.25 04:51.

Gonna guess CCP said no.

With the increase in shiptoasting, the Report timer needs to be shortened.

My corp was in this situation some years ago. I was told (though didn't have direct access to the messages) that GMs said that they would replace the CEO if they remained inactive for 2 more months (or something), but when the time came they apparently changed their mind and did nothing instead.

In these situations I wouldn't expect any outside intervention (after all, the CEO could log in and complain that their corp was "stolen" while they couldn't afford to subscribe or whatever).
