(also, if you're upset that cheap ships are killing your expensive Hulk, blame CONCORD, and look at the ratting Ragnarok+Nyx loss that happened just after the Logoffski changes. 50 Canes to kill 70b worth of ship.)

Yes, I believe this had been already discussed. Thank you for the summary.

AllYourISK was implying otherwise with her question.

Except that 'million EHP Damnation' doesn't exist in hisec. You need the Erebus for that.

To show that it, in fact does exist in HS. A real cargo Damnation has a bit less than 1m EHP, but is close enough.
(Actually, take off the MWD, and you can get 1,001k EHP with A-Types for 3.2b total)

Tornado costs 90m fit for gank. (I'll use T2 fit nado damage for T1 fit cost here, real cost is 120m)
Draclira's are about 5B each, so 10b in droppable modules. Expected drop value 5b.

EHP vs Quake: 1.72m
Tornado Alpha (max skills, with 5% implants): 13000. Assume 2 shots.
26k Damage per Nado.

67 Tornados. Costing 6.03 Billion Isk.

Now that's assuming all Tornado pilots have perfect skills, implants, no shots miss, etc.

More reasonably, you're looking at 90-100 Tornados. 180+ if it's in .7 or above (no second shot). It's not getting ganked.

Even that 10b Isk Damnation is not a viable, For-Profit Suicide gank target.

Apologies, but deleted. The forum stripped out everything but a quote once I clicked Post, and it was too late to re-compose.

Apparently the 101 curriculum you took skipped such crucial details as “arriving on grid” and “not being able to target a ship already in warp”.
So, scramblers don't work after "warp drive activated"?
Sure they do. They just don't work when the target is already in warp.

It should have saved a draft. Next time check the bottom left.

Happens to me all the time. Bugs the shit out of me.

How can you be 'already in warp' when you're warp scrambled? It's not just AFK cloakers (you people keep whining even though they can't do anything) who can use cloaking devices.

If you're thinking that someone's gonna uncloak and scram you, you're an idiot.

If you think someone's going to bump you, and they successfully get close enough to bump an aligned Miner, surrounded by drones without being decloaked, AND are able to keep a hulk that only needs to hit 7m/s to warp bumped, then I think they deserve it. All that is not easy at all.

Also, EVEN if they do all that, you'll see them decloak in time; top speed cloaked is about 400m/s. When they decloak, there's a second before they can MWD, and they're at 1600. The first second of MWD *might* get the bump, but I doubt it. That means you have 2s to press a button. That's more than plenty of time.

Hulk/Covetor can't hit 66m/s in 2 seconds. Even if I used Daredevil to web said Hulk/Covetor they could just easily take it out with T1 fit Rifter and continue their gank with blaster awesomeness.

Hulks Webbing Hulks. We've been over this. I again begin to worry about your head injury.

Doesn't let you scramble people before they enter warp. In fact, in most instances, it makes it harder to do so.

…and you still can't scramble anything that has entered warp.

The point you seem to be missing here is that entering warp can take roughly zero seconds. It's funny to see how you mange to continue in your never-ending quest to not know anything about the game mechanics.

Covert ops, SB, force recon and BO don't have targeting delay after decloaking.
