Let me say up front, so you don't waste your time reading:

- I am looking for a High Sec corp right now
- I lead a busy life so I usually play EVE for things I can do semi-AFK (lvl4 mission, mine, explore, trade, build)
- I am looking for an active corp of friendly and respectful folks, primarily aimed toward the industry and/or PvE aspects of EVE

I am a true EVE veteran. I have had to take several breaks from the game in the past, and only have 80mil skill points as a result, but I have followed EVE since the game was first announced, and have played since the closed beta test stages in 2002. My breaks from the game in the past have been due to real life time constraints, not boredom. I have always loved EVE and I am the type that can find enjoyment in sitting around, slowly grinding my way up to that next ship.

A little bit about me: I am a 25 year old American male, I live in Philadelphia. I am a laid back, quiet, very friendly, responsible person in real life, with an insanely nutty side to me. I am not much of a PvPer. I wouldn't mind it, but my playing style currently limits my ability to fund the risk of repetitive ship or implant losses. I do have experience in 0.0 but with my playing style and my time constraints it is not my preferred place to be. I wouldn't mind having access to it as long as it isn't a requirement to be there.

As far as my background employment in EVE, I have been involved in the same corp (in various installments) since I began playing, and we go back even further than that. The guys I came to EVE with I have been gaming with since 1999. We founded the corp together and it has more or less survived since. However, due to RL issues I am the only one among the original team who still plays EVE, and although I have tried my hand for a while at handling the corp myself, I have found I am just not cut out to be a CEO. It is thus with much reluctance that I am looking to finally disband my corp and find a new home in EVE. Hence, I am looking for a serious commitment to a good corp, which means my standards are high. I know that I am the one who will be filling out the application, but I want to be impressed by your corp as well!

I have held either a CEO or Director position for much of my history in EVE, so I do believe I have much that I could offer for the right corp. Granted, I would not expect to just be placed into a position of leadership (nor am I necessarily looking for one anymore). I have, however, developed some ideas over time that I would love to continue playing with if possible. My strengths are in CFO duties, namely budgeting. I used to keep track of all my corp's expenses and revenue, and create a monthly budget to keep track of profits, determine how much should be put into savings, how much should be divided amongst the various wallets or corp divisions, what amounts of ISK can be set aside for use in what categories, etc. I also ran a realistic shares system, keeping track of the value of corp assets to determine share price, and cash out dividends at the end of each month.

I also developed a very sophisticated mineral and loot/salvage buy-back program that became quite popular before I took my last break (I had people asking to join because of it). The program is based on keeping an accurate measurement of the value of materials that individuals choose to willingly donate to the corp, which is then converted into a point value. It works much like the LP store for mission runners. As members accumulate a certain number of points (by providing a certain amount of material for the corp over time), they advance in rank, and are offered additional rewards and privileges. There were 22 ranks, each of which offers benefits and rewards (which the corp funds by taking the material the members donated in order to achieve these ranks, and making profit off of it). These rewards range anywhere from the ability to purchase more corporate shares, to monetary bonuses, to free ships or items, to even (potentially, over a very long period of time) free PLEX and the ability to purchase anything the corp sells at only 25% of the market value. This works best with a corp heavily involved in production of items and ships of all kinds. I am more attracted toward corps that work together toward achieving a goal (but still offer some leniency), rather than corps where everyone basically just does their own thing.

As I said, this system became quite popular among my members before I had to take a leave of absence. Unfortunately, we didn't get to test it too extensively to see how successful it was. I'm not necessarily looking for a group that will allow me to implement my idea into their already successful corporation, but if you like what you see and want to make use of the idea, I would be happy to explain how it works in more detail if and when we get to that stage. I wouldn't even be against finding a group of 2-3 good folks who want to start up a new corp, if they are looking for a CFO and have experience in running a corp already, or are confident they already have what it takes to build a successful corp.

Above all, I am just looking for an active group of friendly folks in the production & industry and/or trade or PvE business who would like to welcome me aboard, hopefully permanently. The ability to be able to implement and run my budgeting and buy-back program ideas is not a necessity. I just think it would be fun to see how the ideas work in a more active corporation if I am given that opportunity. Feel free to reply or contact me in-game if you like what you see and we can get to know each other a bit more.

Love the novel man! Good to find a guy who knows what he wants. I know we are primarily 0.0 but we have no requirement that you come out here. Access is of course available anytime you want to come shoot someone! We have groups of guys who mission run in empire and of course run some industrial concerns of our own.

If this sounds like what you're looking for give me a shout or join our public chat listed below.
