Some Inventory UI experimentation

Since the implementation of the new inventory UI, I have been experiencing pronounced lag when moving large stacks of items from one open container to another, or when doing a 'stack all' on an open container. Today I decided to create a custom filter that only showed what happened to be three items in a hangar, then added a number of items, none of which matched that filter. It went very smoothly. Then I did a 'stack all'. Again, very smooth. I unchecked the filter to make sure that everything was indeed stacked, and it was.

What I suspect is causing much of the lag is the updating of the value of the items in the inventory. The value of my inventory changes from before and after a 'stack all', when in theory it should not. Afterall, I haven't added or substracted anything of value to/from the inventory merely by stacking things. It must be going out and getting out-to-date values for everything, or at least those things where the stacks change. Is there anyway we can disable the 'auto-evaluate' feature? It doesn't do anything for me to know how much the ammo I am using is valued... however that value is determined. It would be less work for there not to be these calls for each item to determine the value, too.

Ironic. A test-e talking about lag.
