EDIT: After some friendly soul searching with forum friends over the weekend, I am bumping this thread so that a CCP DEV or GM might see it and maybe ask his buddy down in marketing if he knows wtf I am talking about. Also adding better description to the OP:

Find it for me please? I found this but its much longer than a TV spot and doesn't seem to match up with what I remember seeing. Pretty sure it was maybe a 30 or 60 second commercial.

I remember the commercial ended with two ships side by side trading shots as if they were two ancient sea-faring naval vessels trading cannon shots. I don't remember the ship types but I want to say they were either gallente or caldari, probably battleship sized, and I seem to remember a blue background. They were coming towards the screen and there was some thrash metal screaming bit where the guy is really just screaming WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH and the drums and guitars are going crazy but were in rhythm with the ships trading shots. Again, very short commercial and perhaps not the oldest,

EDIT:
I had heard about Eve Online in chat of other MMO's before that and I quickly dismissed it due to the negative descriptions. However, after I saw the TV commercial in 2008 I did a goggle search and viewed all the various videos, guides and info available. About one month later I subbed and have been here ever since.

I still believe the dominion trailer was far and away the best trailer they've done. I still watch it from time to time. When Red and AAA went at it I got to be a part, I only wish it was anywhere near as epic as the trailer was. Lol

Could be this, which is the earliest one I remember. It actually caused a bit of a stir back then because it didn't follow any of the accepted "norms" of gaming adverts. It was released in 2003.

Thanks for putting in all the effort, I'm afraid its still not what I remember. It might help that the music, as i remember it, was some fast paced screaming metal bit where the guy is just kinda screaming one note and the drums were going crazy, it went really well with the two ships trading shots as the screen seemed to shake to that or the drums, hard to say.

No, I'm not. But youtube is only offering up the trailers. I am specifically looking for what I am positive was a quick 30 or 60 second commercial that aired on television. It's old but I don't remember when I saw it, and the only other help I can provide is that it aired in the US.
