Yeah for sure it disappears.
I'm quite sure it stays for 2 hours it you leave the jettison untouched.
However, I was told that if you rename the cargo jet, then instead of 2 hours it stays for 4 hours.
Can anyone confirm this?

Nope its nonsense! The jetcan stays for 2 hours, that's it.

But two hours should be enough to scout ahead.

Thanks to Kil2 and Kovorix for having me on the show. They were great hosts, kept the discussion moving and it was a very enjoyable experience.

But goddamn I hate listening to myself talk on a recording lol...

lol well I think Laktos has a charming aussie accent.

Also, I'd like to make a correction, and point out that I'm a ****** - a Mag Stab gives like 4 more DPS than a Drone Damage mod for a Myrm with 4x Ions and 2x Electrons. While it's situational which one will end up being more useful, i think probably the mag stab is the safer bet in the end... guess the Drone Dmg mods are useful for the Ishtar/Gila/Domi only.

Great show as always!

Kil2 mentioned that some topics come up during a fight discussion and I want to share a story that happened to me sometime before I got into pvp.

I was in a level 4 mission in highsec (hilarious carebear, I know..) and this little matar frigate warps into my deadspace pocket ans starts looting my wrecks.
Great, a ninja salvager I thought.
Well, that ballsy pilot thought he could trick a veteran carebear into pvp but a tempting as he was in his red blinking frigate I had a better idea for him.
There are things you should know about your surroundings - even in highsec!

Some of you pilots that are not so much in pve except ratting at gates or asteroid belts and maybe not know this but if you know what you are up against, you fit to counter that or tank thank for longer engagements and there are still a handful of level 4 missions that are not as easy as the nerfed ones and the one I was in, was one of the more challenging ones, a
"Blockade" level 4 with sanshas in it - a lot of them.
You should also know, that you - the pilot - will be called primary by all ships that are on the grid as soon as your ship slows down from the deadspace gate you came from.

What I did was shooting the wrecks, that the matar frigate was burning towards and aligning back to my station and when there were no more wrecks to loot, I warped off and left him there, knowing that he will be primary next Roll.

A few bad outcries in local with my name in it in a language I couldnt read anyways and I knew he didn't like it-

Knowing the NPC's in a certain region and knowing what they do, you can use them to assist you in belts and gates to your advantage.
After doing those missions for such a long time, I always know which Gurista NPC boats will jam your target or you if you dont pay attention, Angels like to paint you, Sanshas use tracking disrupters, Blood Raider use neutralizers, Serpenties damp your sensors and so on.
Maybe it is irrelavant but knowledge it powah.

Hey guys,
nice ep14 with the guests ;-)

Since you spoke about Myrmidons, here's a new inferno fit that i think rocks :

56K EHP (59 OH)
938 DPS with void (1023 OH)
777 DPS with null (838 OH)

[Myrmidon, inferno shiBuff DPS drone dmg]

Tracking Enhancer II
Damage Control II
Drone Damage Amplifier II
Magnetic Field Stabilizer II
Magnetic Field Stabilizer II
Magnetic Field Stabilizer II

Adaptive Invulnerability Field II
Large Shield Extender II
Large Shield Extender II
J5b Phased Prototype Warp Scrambler I
Experimental 10MN MicroWarpdrive I

Heavy Neutron Blaster II, Void M
Heavy Neutron Blaster II, Void M
Heavy Neutron Blaster II, Void M
Heavy Neutron Blaster II, Void M
Heavy Neutron Blaster II, Void M
Heavy Neutron Blaster II, Void M

Medium Processor Overclocking Unit I
Medium Anti-EM Screen Reinforcer I
Medium Core Defense Field Extender I

Hobgoblin II x1
Ogre II x2
Hammerhead II x2

You can switch a mag stab for a second drone dmg amp, the numbers are exactly the same with void (a little less OH) and a little better with null.
With a 3% cpu implant or a meta4 large shield extender instead of one techII you can replace the tracking enhancer with a second drone dmg amp for even more dps (899/1085 null/void OH)

This is actually a really awesome little tip! I've definitely had fights where having the NPCs on me made the pressure of my tank just a bit too much, and others where they helped me pull through a really close 1v1 (hurricane vs. drake). Also useful to know the NPCs damage in case you run into carebears, so you shoot the right damage at them Twisted

PS yes, that myrm fit is pretty nuts for dps. gonna try it someday.

I really enjoyed the last episode. It worked out well i think. I think this is the best podcast out there right now, You guys are doing a really great job.
My only piece of advice would be to always keep noobs in mind when laying out the fight- Give a brief overview of how things like bubbles, expected fits, range differences on different weapons, gate mechanics ect. To be fair, I do hear you guys doing a decent job of it, but sometimes a description is skipped, or just poorly skimmed before moving onto more advanced discussion...
I look foward to every episode- Oh- I gotta say, you guys were the tipping point for me not just getting into solo pvp finally, but resubbing as well =) Faction warfare is super busy now compared to a year ago, and it's been a really fun playground.

Cheers!

Hey guys, I discovered your podcast through a Google search a couple weeks ago and ever since then I've been listening to you guys every chance I get. On my way to work, when I'm eating lunch, even before bed I'll turn on the podcast and listen to your interesting discussion on Eve's PvP.. Hell, I've actually been looking forward to the trip to work these past two weeks!

Anyways, keep it up guys you have some quality stuff and its really entertaining and interesting to hear. I've almost caught up and am on Episode 13 today, Its gonna suck not having more endless content to listen to but I'll have to make due and wait like everyone else for the next one to come P. Cheers!

EDIT: Just finished episode 14 today. LOL, listening before bed isn't THAT weird haha... Roll

I would like to hear your opinions/theories/strategies on weapon grouping in the next episode, I have seen a lot of different configurations in a variety of videos but have not seen any real discussion on what people do or why.

You guys have definitely inspired me to get out there and learn to solo. So far....it's only resulted in me dying (and spending lots and lots of time in low sec looking for fights) but it's been fun and I've been learning a lot.

Today I took on a Hurricane in a Thorax and while I lost, I gave the Hurricane a good run for his money....judging by his previous losses he was probably fit with three trimarks and two 1600 plates, I got him down to below 1/3 armor before I went.

What I need to remember most is to overheat and pay closer attention to what's going on. Knowing he was heavily tanked and also seeing that I wasn't scrammed, I'm willing to bet I could have gotten away from him (or at least tried to) before I got killed.

Oh well, lesson learned.

Thanks for the podcast and the videos, it really does help get guys like me out there.
