Launcher made me laugh today

I was playing EVE over the past couple years and I was starting to get a handle on all the different aspects that make EVE what it is. There is so much that a pilot can do in EVE and that is what makes this such a great game.
Then the new UI was introduced. I tried working with it and setting it up the way that I thought would work for me. It is too complex and cumbersome to use. The old Cargo, Items, Cans menus and Orca Tabs were so easy to use before the UI.
I haven't even come close to doing Invention or fully using a POS. For me, just trying to accomplish doing simple inventory tasks became tedious and wrought with WTF moments. UI to me is what I call just plain 'stupid'. It is inefficient and it made no sense at all why I should be forced to use this p.o.s.
Last week, I unsubbed both my accounts and I doubt very much that I will return. Shame that I wasted money on EVE but lesson learned. I will be more careful in how I spend my entertainment money in future.

For the helluvit, I launched EVE and what I saw, made me laugh. June 1st Launcher

Oh look, another insipid, pointless whine thread, congratulations. As per forum rules, I am honour bound to give you a parting gift. I hope that this gift will serve you well in the future and that you can learn from the statements contained therein.

My parting gift to you...

Enjoy!

Irrefutable proof that EVE is dying.

Should have done it right after downtime. Then you would have had only a couple thousand online. Try harder next time.

I have no idea whether the game is "dying" or not, but everyday since I signed up 6 weeks ago it seems somebody's writing an obituary. I'm sure it's been that way since the game launched.

That being said... his screenshot is identical to my launcher window. Took me two seconds to verify, just had to click the "Play Eve" icon on my start menu.

I'm a bit confused as to CCPs math however -- their "over 50%" offer is actually 33% off the first month price.

I think if you download your account and activate your first month with cash, it's regularly $19.95 (it's as if you're paying for a copy of the game and getting 30 days free) and $14.95 afterwards. Of course, using a PLEX skips all of that (and they cost $19.95 anyway).

Ah, I see. They did say "over 50% of new accounts", not 50% off the first month's subscription price, so technically what they said is correct.

Only if you buy a single one. Otherwise it's 17.5$ per unit. And sometimes less with some special offers.
