Make Eve all 0.0

I hear a lot of interesting observations from celebrated PVErs that '0.0 is safer then highsec' because their hulk with 3 empty mids got ganked after years of afk mining.

I think we should give these valid concerns their due and make all of EVE 0.0 (wormholes can stay) so that all of these people can enjoy the safety that we do.

This is like shouting "SATAN!" in a room full of sociopaths. The ones that don't fall down on their knees start trying to THINK.

The right to free speech doesn't automatically carry with it the right to be taken seriously.

That kind of sums up the problem, I don't identity myself as a PVE player or a PvPer or a miner or trader. I like everyone else are a member of EvE.

Hard core PvP players seem to believe that because they have specialized in one part of EvE they are better than everyone else but in reality they are little more than than the Hardcore dungeon runners in WOW. Kind of sad.

PvP has a place in EVE but that is it a place it is not the whole game.

Any spelling, grammatical and punctuation errors are because frankly, I don't care!!

Why?

It is the content or lack of, that is important.

Some of my views are not shared by my corp.

To post with my other main could cause them problems.

Why would anyone want all of eve to be 0.0? 0.0 is awful.

Make all of eve wormhole space.

Eve will be better off.

That is a ridiculous argument, yes the amount of PvP effects a large part of what is bought on the market but on the other hand if the price of minerals keeps increasing, due to players no longer wanting to mine then it will be the amount of mining done will effect the amount of PvP that occurs. As the cost of ships will reduce the number of times people are wanting to PvP.

You fail to realize that your reply confirms his argument.

As what comes to ship prices rising, that is actually a good thing. Meaningless PVP for the sake of PVP decreases, ships with lower SP requirements become more common and thus more viable.

There was a certain event on the test server several years ago when the whole EVE universe was 0.0. It was a blast.

But to be serious for a while, ganking hulks isn't really pvp in my book. Trading is more pvp than ganking. Ganking may be fun and profitable, but it's not what I'd call pvp.

Yeah when they stress-tested the new blade server cluster. Titans doomsdaying each other in Jita.

I was there, it was so unreal.

But yeah, clearly people are unsatisfied with the flying in space section of this game because you're not perfectly safe, however walking in stations is also deeply unpopular. I think that CCP need to strike out in a bold new direction: FLYING IN STATIONS!

Basically we take the already sound and widely popular principals behind ship spinning and greatly expand upon them. People don't want to undock where they're vulnerable to attack, but they don't want to do nothing but spin either, so why not fly your ship around inside of stations completing menial tasks? Use your tractor beam to move cargo around, pick up passengers and act as an in-station taxi service (stations are big remember). All these activities would generate isk for you. There should also be an option to convert the number of spins on your spin counter to isk.

This would be most amusing. Let's float that boat and see how long it takes before it springs a big leak Twisted

Or one step further: FLYING STATIONS. Pilot your own starbase and watch it bounce off gates and moons.
