you idiot i should not have to be at my computer hitting dscan every 1/10th a second to stay alive.

Everyone else flying an expensive ship they don't want to lose has to. Why do the special little snowflake miners not have to?

Discuss hauling...

I haul using both iteron 5's and a technique I perfected which allows me to INSTA warp, even past gate camps.

1. jump through a gate
2. Aligh and hit CLOAK immediately, plus activate microwarp drive the second you activeate the cloak
3. wait for the MWD to reach 80%, unclock and hit warp

if you do this sequence correctly you are aligned, the microwarp drive disables kicking you into instawarp because you reach top speed and your ship is aligned

Or use a crane with less cargo but less hassle.

Prior to hauling look at the map. The map gives you VALUABLE intel on player activity within 30 minutes, this is a must for lowsec haulers.

I really don't understand how miners are unable to use a simple tool like d-scan.

I do it to rile you up, make you come after me to gank me, and then I hide in the station like the coward I am!
Look at how powerful I really am!

I have a question for miners though, why play a game you don't play? CCP puts in all this effort to build a ton of content and you just turn your lasers on and walk away. Oh well I'm chatting with friends or reading a book. Sure, but why play eve when you have no interest really in the game.

But I do play the game. I mine all day and all night to make you so mad that you come to gank me and then I'm not there!

Are you just not interested in other aspects of the game? If so, why play ? Why pay 14.99 a month or buy plex for something you don't even use?

I mine because of this. This to shove in your face and make you leave your lovely PvP so that you come and gank me,but I'm not there! I do it to be inscrutable to you! You waste your time worrying about how I play the game that all you can do is whine and pank, pank on the forums instead of PvP. Why don't you PvP? Why do you worry and fret over me mining all the time?

Who's wasting their time and money? Mmmm.....makes you wonder.

I make enough ISK a month without a JF, I play maybe 1 or 2 hours a night, On average I can make between 25 and 50 million a night. Within 2.5/3 weeks I have enough for a plex even with inflation. Then I have an extra week to make more and lose it with market trading scams. Yeah that one hurt, lost 800 million, way worse then losing a hulk.

Learned about margin trading from that mistake. Guess what I'm training now.

There are SO many tools available to warn you very early that you are about to be attacked and even then there are ways to avoid being ganked simply by operating the controls.

Why do you RMT, James?

I mine so that you are driven madly insane and drool all over your keyboard. I do it because I can control what you think and how you behave!

All one has to do is look at all those posts that are against carebears and high sec miners.

I have control and you have none!

It's REALLY hard to find people to pvp in eve, try running a lowsec roam, see if you can engage anyone in 2 hours, and if you do the chances of a fair fight are even lower. But there are many other activities to keep you occupied and plenty of opportunities that highsec just doesn't offer. It's not right for everyone but I enjoy being immersed in a game I'm playing.

when I play a game though I immerse myself in the game, I don't AFK, so I'm wondering why people play a game they dont play?

I like to mine AFK in higsec and not use dscan and do other RL stuff -- all so I can make you think about what I'm doing and why it doesn't make sense to you! Because I want mind control, and it's working.

I win!

Just to be clear, I am not against miners at all, I could care less what you do, but my question is why play a videogame you dont play?

Is it fun? How? I don't understand.

Why would I waste my time doing a lowsec roam? I would then lose the power of mind control. I would lose my power over you!
Now I mine, and you worry and fret about why I mine. What a waste that is, eh?

But I've told you why, because I can control people. It's about the game of mind control Making you do things you wouldn't normally do. Like worry about what other people are doing in game!

But clearly, you do care, or you wouldn't have started the post.
Eve is a videogame, of which, mining is a part. Psychology and mind control is also part of it. You are ensnared as are a lot of people.

So now who's wasting their time? You zipping through the universe looking for something, but not finding it? Or me, mining ore and making ISK?

Indeed those pills are colorful, but who's taking them? I'm mining and making ISK, you are roaming for hours for...nothing?
Who's wasting time and their $14.99?

If it's so boring to PvP, why would I do that?

I make enough isk to play and pay with ISK. I go on roams because it's a team activity and you can learn team mechanics which are not possible any other way. Communication is key and I enjoy the team aspect of roams.
