Q about Unallocated Skill Points

Hey everyone,
Recently restarted my journey into Eve and i was curious as to what the deal with the 'Unallocated Skill Points' is?

Someone care to enlighten me?

There used to be some skills (called learning skills) that CCP removed from the game (about a year ago iirc) and then refunded the points players had trained for said skills.

So unless your character is older than a year or more you wont have any unallocated skill points.

I had those when i stopped playing (All lvl4) so that'll explain it :)

Also more recently CCP removed all "Xxx Connections" skills from game and added 3 new such skills to replace old ones. This also gave unallocated skill points.

So if you had those skills trained, and still need them, don't forget to train the new skills. Either with unallocated skillpoints or normally. CCP should've given you skillbooks for free if you had old skills (at the station were your medical clone is.)

We also have a potental to lose some skills again sometime relatively soon. Battlecruiser is probably going away for racial battlecruisers. But that won't be before they have a plan that wan't have the community howling for blood. They did promise that any ship you can fly now you would still be able to fly.
