and will we ever see a list of the names that were included prior to the drawing?

An interesting question. In the random drawing, the name that was pulled was "RvB - Red Federation". It is possible that one of the two entries was removed before the drawing, but we have no way of knowing that.

sure we do there was a blue post about this already. Last year they let both in, this year to choose to treat them as one alliance since we group up daily in eve and fly in the same fleets. we just made two alliances to make it easy to have endless war.

I'll try to find the blue post

I think this question was more about "did RvB have a bigger chance to get drawn because they had two strips in the hat?"
Anyway, it's history... time has proved nobody actually really wanted the last Tourney slot for 10 PLEXes...

For the conspiracy fans:
Did CCP intentionally place a wrongly labelled paper strip in that helmet to let the draw - that must of course been somehow manipulated since it was not live Pirate - seem more authentic because it included this "error"?

RvB only had one chance of entering. I was told before the drawing what was going to happen.

I do have to agree that CCP kinda forfeited a lot of trust with the debacle of the last few days, so "trusting" there was only Red Federation in the hat and no Blue Federation is kinda far fetched.
Specially since one of the big motto's of EVE is "Trust Nobody"

But I think each and everyone will have to decide for themselves if they trust or not. Proof doesn't matter anymore anyways since neither way can be proven now and we will have to take people's word on it or not.

And again. We just have to take their word on it.

But that is something which everyone has to decide for themselves since proof is something nobody trusts in EVE.
If CCP had a perfect trackrecord for being honest and open then we would never have heard of the CSM in the first place.
There wouldn't have been any Jita riots etc.

And there wouldn't have been any need to delete soo many blue posts.

I almost miss monoclegate.

Everything was much easier to decipher without as much confusion over who to point fingers at. ;)

I don't have to "prove" anything. Choose to believe what you want.

There was only one entry in the hat for RvB as we had decided before the draw we could only let one in, at the time we decided we would offer their executor the choice of which team to enter if we drew them from the hat. That decision was then amended to allow the joint RvB team.

Also we recorded the second half of the team draw in case we needed to go to the reserve teams but saw no need to put that out as well and possibly influence the result of the auctions (teams high up on the reserve list not bidding in the auction in the hope that they would get in as a reserve).

At the time we had not completed the first round of queries on the teams so yes Hydra, Outbreak and Your votes don't count were all in the hat.

Two interesting facts of the day:
1. Outbreak were the second last team to be drawn out of 77 teams.
2. We were all happy knowing Hydra and Outbreak would pay big time in Plex in the auctions.

How's that for some more clear bias admitting :)

Also, that "1st round of queries" didn't involve checking the evetv inbox or you just chose to not answer the emails?

Amazing the 3 alliances weren't taken from the hat with a 50% change each and 1 hour later they were kicked.

It even sound like it was made on purpose

I hope that post is just extremely poorly worded

2a. At that time we thought Hydra and Outbreak would be allowed to participate in the tournament and weren't too stressed out about them not winning one of the spots in the random draw - after all they were basically guaranteed to bid in the open auction whatever it takes to get a tournament spot. We were happy as that would make the auctions more interesting.

2b. Later we discovered that Hydra and Outbreak would not be allowed to participate in the tournament. Their names hadn't been drawn from the hat and in fact we were quite happy knowing that this would make them pay big time (for their exploits) Twisted Mess with us at your own risk.

Attempting to twist my words and constantly scheming conspiracies is only driving the tournament team away from these discussions. Aka you know what I meant.

Maybe you should talk to someone about your anger issues. Holding all that stress deep inside, it can't be good for your health.
