I have a very very important piece of advice for your ladyfriend;

DO NOT pull numbers from a 'dump', or use programs that pull numbers from a dump.

I have repeatedly seen websites that show a net profit on items that are definitely selling at a loss.

You can use someone else's calculator program, just use your own market-fu.

Dead handy for working out how far a BP should be researched. While you can get 'perfect' BPOs, a lot of the time, they're not worth it (unless you're going to make thousands). All about the return.
