DECLAIMER READ FIRST BEFORE GOING OFF THE HANDLE!!! Ok before you shout at me for losing you jump freighter kills Im only really interested in doing it within highsec

Sometimes it would be nice just to move a lot of stuff around highsec relatively quickly and the only reason I can see that jump freighters can't jump into high sec is because other jump drive ships can't.

So yeah just tossing it out there with not much hope that it will be taken seriously.

The issue is that letting JFs jump within highsec would instantly homogenize the entire market system, even more than it already is. There was talk of possibly letting BlOps jump/bridge in highsec (which I think is a cool idea), but there were even concerns of BlOps bridged BRs shifting the balance of the market. So, no, I don't see highsec jumping JFs happening any time soon.

it would remove or at least significantly hurt the suicide ganking aspect of the game - as noone would traverse the pipes with valuables.

(lolrp reason) You can't cyno into hisec due to CONCORD restrictions on the lighting of Cynosural Fields in systems of 0.5 security or higher. It has nothing to do with "capitals can't jump here".

(Gameplay reason) MX covered this pretty well already.

Though, seriously, you're pretty much "invulnerable" in hisec as it stands in a freighter or JF ( ISK tank the thing, and you're good to go). Note, wars are another matter entirely and you shouldn't be flying a freighter blind in the midst of a war.

One of the bitter points of a good bittervet is the realisation that all those SP don't really do much, and that the newbie is having much more fun with what little he has. - Tippia
