I actually really liked this "feature", made linking destination in fleet, or item types in alliance a lot more readable.

, an option to keep it would also be nice

Sometimes it was useful that if you typed in "spiced", auto-linked it, it would expand to "spiced wine".

Other times, that causes issues where you want to use a shorter link name for space or clarity.

So I liked it and didn't like it, depending on the situation.

One possible fix is: Why don't we have tooltips that show up when we mouseover link text to tell us what the linked text is linking to before we click on it?

Gotta like that the patch notes mention the "Frogholing autolinks".

So, this is a lttle bit of topic, but I decided I needed to know what froghole really is...

It's a natural body of water, bigger than a puddle, smaller than a pond. It may dry out for some month of the year, but is still big enough to be a regular spawning ground for frogs. Hence the name.

New patch has not fixed it...

Frogfailing

Note the ones that were existing are fine (Reb, 31-, EZA, M2- etc.), but the ones I re-edited to stations, then back to systems are not

otherwise the receiver has no way of forming an expectation of what he is clicking.

Focusing on this part of what CCP Prism X said .. how about this suggestion that I have in the suggestions forum? The ability for us to make what everyone else is linking a custom color depending what the link is?

So in my chat box if I wanted to see ship fitting links blue, and module links as green, and URL links as yellow, I could easily tell by the color I set for each link type, what type of links other people are linking in chat.

Since some I've talked to have been confused.. I want to be able to customize the colors I see links as on my screen, not customize the colors everyone else sees my links as.

Could make unedited link names show in a slightly different hue than edited links, and what it really is should be seen on mouseover.

FT Diomedes: "Reaver, sometimes I wonder what you are thinking when you sit down to post."

Frostys Virpio: "We have to give it to him that he does put more effort than the vast majority in his idea but damn does it sometime come out of nowhere."
