Nearly got schooled by this little gem I can tell you.

If brute force isn't working, you're just not using enough.

Please Note: Any advice given comes with the caveat that nothing will be suitable for every situation.

Umm. Since always. Blood Raiders are the worst for it; I'm assuming that's what you ran into.

since he never found neuts before im betting that mission isnt on his rotation. more likely hes missioning on gallente/minmatar space and got "Cargo Delivery" and tried to kill the spawn after killing the small grp that appears when you loot the can.

that mission has killed more t1 battleships than the first day of incursions. Lol

Were they neut's I thought it was Nos, could be wrong I haven't pulled one of those missions in years. Fortunately for me everytime I pulled it I was in a passively tanked ship Big smile

Yeah just noticed that a few days ago when I got Cargo Delivery. Wasn't bad though when I just stayed at range with my Drake (aggro-ed), and picked off the BS with my alt. I think it's more fun to do missions with stuff like this. Although I do wish you could fight back (with nos/neut).

Speaking of which, does the neut resistance apply to npc neuting?

Even the Sisters Of Eve epic arc "Blood Stained Stars" has a neut BC in mission 49. really, that hurts...

Too right. I remember one Level 3 that had heavy aggro and neuting sentry towers - and I was in a rail-armed dual-MAR Myrmidon, not a Drake. Really fun when you're flying an active armor tanker, you've caught full aggro, and you get capped out. I was just lucky not to get scrammed at the same time.

Yeah, there's a reason cap boosters are so popular...

Blood Raiders HEAVY NOS, not neut.. but it has the same effect, which goes against the way a nos works when players nos each other.

Yeha this needs changing tbh, just like w-space Sleeper NOS which was correctly amended to neuting. Why any (uncap-out-able) rat would need NOS is anyone's guess. Yes it's nit-picking, but then so is correcting tiny typos - which CCP seem to pounce on every patch ..

The NOS effect is a little less "in your face" than the neut one, so NPCs using it isn't a huge deal unless you're a bit OCD about it.

That said I didn't like flying the Curse when it had the broken polygon on its window. :(

I personally use the rattler to blood raider missions. However, if you know the mission or read the mission guide you can avoid having your cap bleed dry by warping in at range and sniping before they get into their NOS range. However, once the cruiser class ships are within 20km they will begin NOS'ing you until you either kill them or warp out.

So if you can out range them you win.

Keep distance at minium 30km all nothing bad hapen... Raiders Bs use neuts while they 26+-2 km away form ship medium npc like 9km, the worse thing is neut sentrys in some lvl 5 missions, they neut cap even form 200km away impossible to avoid them.

You are wrong they use neuts not nos, some time ago i finished some plexes with raiders while using drake with two invul they neut whole cap that i cant activate invuls, so i need swich to full pasive em-th hardeners.

And same hapens to my firend while he use active tank tengu in low sec on 6/10 plex, he barely survive and warpout on hull becase they naut whole cap, NPC dont need capacitor they got pasive regen... they dont drain they neut it...
