EVE voice no longer works for me

EVE voice has stopped working for me since the new release. I've heard of a couple of other corp mates who are having similar problems. I click to join comms in the fleet window and nothing happens. I've looked through the known issues but didn't see this problem listed.

Any ideas on what the solution is?

I'm running on Vista if that makes any difference.

I have the exact same issue, EvE Voice is not working since the patch.

It knows people are talking, even muting the main EvE audio at the relevant time, but it just doesn't tell me what they are saying.

i get exact same issue, worked before doesn't now.

this is exactly my problem. I wrote a petition and they said its a server side problem and they are investigating how to fix it.

I got the same problem. Since new patch launched, no voice in fleet voice channel. All setting do not changed this month, Background music , NPC voice is OK. Just channel voice do NOT work.

Same here. No voice since patch and it's really bugging me. How hard can it be to fix? Undo what you did - done!!!

even tried a full new install of eve and had to do all the cosmetic things to make it look and feel like the old one - bah - all for nothing Evil

Same here. Voice doesn't work. Tried everything. It's a bug. There is nothing wrong with your machine or your installation.

Everyone make sure to file a petition on this.

Yeah I can't access eve voice either (petition already sent). I somehow stumbled thru (and survived) a fleet fight locking all that was close and seeing where the damage was going before firing. I only made it there as FC fleet warped all of us though I invariably arrived late as I was unaligned due to not hearing anything.

Same issue. Mac user. EV worked perfectly before patch, now various strange behaviors including no sound but I see people talking, or it doesn't let me join at all.

But infact i think they need more than week to fix that.
espicially the log serv has more than 3000 files to check it.
they will not check all files but the member who have the problem have somthing diffrint.

Any way the fun was more less and here born new fun like how to be with the fleet with out order ^_^


Notice:The sector somtimes kicked me from the server..... why?

I am having similar problems, they have only been happening after the patch

problems:
-sometimes not being able to join fleet voice at all
-when i can join voice, my push to talk button doesn't work so I can't speak - changing the push to talk key doesn't help, nor does rejoining the fleet

I've just had the same issue (lots of RvB here!)

Impossible to join fleet audio (clicking does nothing), worked fine for 5 days and joined automatically anyway.
I noticed that under Audio & Chat the whole Configuration section was missing.
Disabling/enabling Eve Voice and restarting client did nothing.

Rebooted and it seemed to clear, whether that was coincidence I do not know.
