What font is used in the client? Was it one created by CCP, derived perhaps from Fragma - the closest match I've found yet? I'm interested in finding a free font that's a good match. All I've read thus far via browsing previous posts consists of whining and bickering over the new font. Not helpful to me.

*douche mode on* you mean typeface not font lol font is the colour/style of the lettering looks a bit like Arial tbh but probably wrong its the same as on here to i think

There Is A 90% Chance All Of What You Just Read Is Wrong, Inaccurate Or Just Me Being Controversial In Some Way. Or By Some Chance It's Completely Right In Every Way... At Least To Me :3

So presumably this font is not allowed to be used for third party EVE web sites via @fontface. Or is it?

If you are looking for a match for use in a product you intend on selling, then go with Fragma, if it is something that is not for profit like a fansite or killboard, then CCP have a fanpack that has all that stuff in it. They are pretty laid back when it comes that sort of thing, as long as you aren't making money off it.

This is for an open source killboard, GPLv3 licensed intended to be used in accordance with CCP's fansite rules. Since I don't see the font included here: Toolkit then I'm going ot assume that it's not redistributable. So, now to go find the closest free font... and Fragma isn't free so no go there.

They did indeed develop EVE Sans Neue in-house afaik, or contracted it, anyway it's custom.

I'd like to get it too, very nice typeface, way cooler than that Fragma.
