The only misgiving I have about it is that a video I watched implied that squads would be limited to 4 members. I'll miss my 30-man Cydonia raids.

EDIT: By the way, i meant Mechwarrior 2.

You kids these days know not about the glory of the MW acronym.

Freeborn scum, the lot of them.

Aside from MW2 and the glorious Mektek-released MW4:

Master of Orion 2
Alpha Centauri
Fallout. All the Fallouts.
Skyrim
Sins, though I haven't played it in forever.
Various Pokemon games. STFU, my Charizard will end you. Oops

Baldur's Gate 2 (Shadows of Amn & Throne of Bhaal)
Dungeon Keeper (the first)
Knights of the Old Republic (the second one would've been even more awesome if they'd bothered finishing it. *yesIamstillbitter*)
S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl
Vampire: the Masquerade: Bloodlines
Warzone 2100

Planescape:Torment

That one basically ruined the RPG-genre for me, as no other game will ever be as good as this one. The Baldur´s Gate saga is clearly the next best thing but still only a pale shadow, nevertheless.

MW2 lol. My first lesson in the nature of release dates.

Not really. There's going to be a cap, yes ... one of the devs said maybe 6 or 8 tops, and you get that after researching a better dropship.

Besides, most tactics didn't really used more than 8 men. (only when you wanted to create a live grenade supply line).

What i'm really skeptic about is the drop of the TU system.

To be honest we should also include the even more ancient Laser Squad. I played this one vs one and I've rarely had that much fun, altough there was that glorious Battle Isle match where my opponents army died when the ice melted in the spring Twisted

I play the following regularly:

Star Trek Online
Diablo III
Pirates of the Burning Sea

I'm definitely looking forward to the new X-COM game, and remember the MechWarrior 1 and 2 games fondly. The only racing game I ever bough was Carmageddon; man, that game was silly amounts of fun.

Sins of a Solar Empire, Freespace 2 Open, Torchlight (psyched for TL II), Star Trek Online (hey, it's free), Dune 2000 is still fun, NHL 11 on my PS3...that's about it.

You clanners are all alike - arrogant and too stupid to know it. Despite that, you have a point: all of the FPS kiddies today are abbreviating their generic shooter in such a way as to defile the good name of MW2 (that's MechWarrior 2).

(I may or may not have just finished playing a tabletop game of Battletech earlier today and may or may not still be pumped about my TSMed up Banshee BNC-8S putting its 38-point axe through a Firestarter FS9-O, among other things.)

Tabletop is where it's at, though MegaMek is a nice alternative if you can't find a local game.

ARMA series.

The game is great to look at and play.

Oh, and my daughters insist that I would play with s**t if it had WW II stamped on it.
