2 of my 3 main accounts are from 2003 and I still run level 4s and 5s from time to time and would think most other "older" players do as well to help break up the boredom or to get away from the retards running null for a few days. I'm waiting out 3 unsubs more or less for the same reasons given by the OP, none of my accounts will be using PLEX for a while. I'm not quitting but taking a break as Eve is more like work than fun now, so nobody can haz my stuffs cuz I'm coming back, probably after summer is over as it will take CCP that long just to fix the UI fuxup.

Whomever is making the last few years decisions on what changes are to be implemented in this game, must hate Eve with all their being.

Stealth bombers are over powered as is the nado and the drake, im sick of ships being made useless by new designs - Stealth bombers have far bigger sigs than thier t1 countparts and are really only effective against blobs with many SBs helping you, or if you manage to avoid gun DPS and destroy all thier drones

Many of the points raised by the OP are opinion, and opinion that does not line up with the progression of Eve Online over the last 8 years - that I have played.

I would suggest that players posting threads such as hers actually do a little homework and/or refresh themselves with the many things that have happened in the depths of space since Eve started

M0O, Concord Buff 1, Concord Buff 2, Concord Buff 3, Speed Nerf, Warp to 0, Remote Doomsdays.... ...life in New Eden is safer and easier now than it ever was.


edit: the Alt the OP has chosen to start the thread with is a 2010 alt. For me to be remotely convinced it is a 2003 player please post with your main.

It is quite clear that with dust coming and whitewolf making a new game they simple dont care about eve anymore. Personally i belive they are going to let eve destroy itself.

No u cant have my stuff because i already gave it all away to a brand new player in Emrayur last night. I am not nerd rage quitting, i have given this months of thought and have been logging in less and less. i have simply had enough :)

Absolutely. I myself sometimes get bored and wander out to null to hit a site and see what falls out.

But when nothing drops I don't complain, because I'm not doing it for the money -- I'm doing it to kill time.

Many do, its good for ppl who have played the game for any length of time and feel that something has changed in the game for the worse and to let ppl know why they are leaving. Feedback is one of the things the forums are for numpty, discussion of the good, the bad, and you.

His points are valid ( although these forums have always been full of trolls and epeen tw*ts)

Also generally a big rise above the normal background lvl of rage quit and complaint posts , is usually indicative of something wrong in the game.
