New Torpedo Effects Dissapointing

I mean they used to be BAUSS but now they're as fun to watch as as snail =[.....Old torpedoes were what I used to impress my friends with...now its just blah..

I know the feeling OP. I even think that some turret/launcher models just don't suit the name. Example Cruise/Torps, big bad single missile comes to mind when i think "torpedo".

The only part of the effect i like is how it seems as if missiles hit the invisible shield of the ship and disintegrate.

Halos made sense back in the bygone era of splash damage. Yet for too long it has been overkill pizzazz.
Now Citadel missiles should have splash and halos.

The impact on the shields is a lot of fun to watch, I kind of wish the guns did that as well now.

They also made more sense back in the bygone era of decent damage against stuff not a stationary Titan.

I find the underwhelming Torpedo effect sadly suitable... Cry

edit: I would like to add that, even though the trailers all show impressive missile models, I find it extremely hard to see anything besides the smoke trail, which are all pretty much the same anyway (except rockets which now swirl very unrocket-like and magically becomes a triplet).

I didn't like the old torps, looked like they should do AoE damage (Which they did but not anymore) Although I do agree that new torp explosions should be a bit bigger

Now, more than ever, we need a dislike button.
