Once a year like remaps we could be allowed to remap a maximum amount amount of SP at a cost of 10% of the total amount moved.

This would allow people who have trained skills they didn't want or lacked the experience to make the choice at the time to shift them into more useful stuff.

i.e i now have an industry alt so i no longer want industry/science skills on my PvP alt as they don't get used.

Doesn't have to be game breaking could be a max of 2.5 Mil SP, would also allow people to change their minds about the direction a character is heading.

Constructive ideas are always welcome.

Mambo Ted, loves to mambo.

i actually like this idea.

i trained some indy stuff on this toon when i first got it and now that i have 2 indy alts...i kinda of hate knowing i have miining etc on this toon ;-;

Please make it happen ccp! this would help those inexperienced players that trained all over the place cause they didnt know what to do from the start and once they get a foothold can remap all to pvp or indy after they decided what direction they want to take.

That's brilliant would love to see that come into EVE, although highly doubt it will

Learn what the search function is. There is another topic with THIS EXACT IDEA currently active in this very forum.

Also, No, for the reasons you will discover if you ever learn to search.

I happen to agree with the no on skill point based things, while sure it would be nice, but giving someone a, would you like to erase this mistake? option every year, as said, in other post that you would find out why, but I've made post before without the use of search, so I shall tell you why.

One: Eve is a unforgiving world, your choices will have an impact on you, and your character through the life of that character, that includes bad choices on the skill tree, so to speak.

Two: Skills tie into other skills, this could create a heavily exploreable problem where people would keep the skills they want, and then untrain the skills that the skills they want depends on, giving them free SP for them to train more skills, and thus creating a massive, and broken cycle.

Three, it allows for cookie cut characters, and it destroys the idea of not just history, but also the idea of planning, to set your character up through work, and if you make a bad choice on your plan, well you must live with that choice.

Four: EVE is hard, if you don't wish to live with that hard, and want someone to hold your hand and forgive you for your mistake, well, eve might not be right for you.

the answer you seek is in the character bazaar

ofc ccp gets ~25-35$ when you seek it... so chances are slim they would be so accommodating.

Only when CCP makes changes to the old system, like learning skills and social skills. As they were changed to a new format, the skill points where refunded. Just like the R&D change, that wasn't borken until a developer had a butthurt moment and suddenly made all the time spent training and getting the faction necessary invalid. Its not like it was an OP ship or something, thank god I got time back because I no longer want to use R&D agents since it no longer pays back what I was expecting...oh wait CCP didn't bother to reimburse the skill points which makes me glad I don't have to pay them real world money anymore!
