Being new to EVE, I started my space carrier as Explorer.

We all know that this requires to use the probes often and it is preferred to use them near the Sun since the whole system can be scanned equally.

However I noticed that due to the darkness of space the "sun is much brighter" and it often bothers me when I play with lights turned off in my room. Lol

So I've asked myself, is there any item like glasses maybe that when put on will actually lower its brightness?

I've was looking at this item for a while GDN-9 Nightstalker Googles but they are pretty expensive and I am concerned that they are more of a fashion wear then actual light obscuring goggles. Smile

Thanks for the help

You shouldn't play with the lights turned off in your room, regardless of what's on the monitor, that puts alot of strain on your eyes. Get a dim light and place it behind the monitor. Alternatively, face your camera away from the sun. P

You do know that probes can be moved right? Your ship doesn't need to be at the sun. But, not like it really matters though, since even when you are 100AU off the sun its still blindingly bright even though at 100AU most of the stars in the game should be barely more noticeable than the ones in the background.

You are also only focused near the sun for a very short time before you should be in the solar system map with your probes so....

We can't recommend eyewear if we don't know who the character is. If I had posted with an alt asking the same question, people wouldn't know to recommend me these sweet, sweet aviators. If my alt was, for example, Amarr, they may have even counter-recommended aviators. How sad would that be?

In other words, alt posting is bad, mmkay?
