Idea would be to add 1 mid slot to all Destroyers for more BC like versatility.

In what way are destroyers not fine right now? From what I've seen, they're fairly well balanced. Randomly buffing them for no apparent reason is probably not a good idea.

the cormy dont need another midslot, its needs another low slot.

You can already get a thrasher to about 9k ehp while maintaining Afterburner, warp scrambler and an impressive dps (considering size)
Adding another midslot would practically make cruisers obsolete ;p

No Destroyer's are fine, it would just make them more versatile and have options besides just ganking could have room for a tracking disruptor or sensor booster or even Sensor damps.

I just think it would be small enough improvement that it wouldn't hurt balance I'm not calling for more CPU and power grid here just 1 more slot for options. Adding tank would be difficult given these ships CPU and PG.

Be honest. You seriously think Coercer is working out with just one mid?Roll

That said, not all dessie need more mid. Thrasher could use 1 fewer mid, and a good nerf in general.

Dessies are not fine right now, it's the most imbalanced among all ship classes. No other class, from covops to mom, has this kind of gap among its members.

The reason I proposed 1 Mid and not lows is these ships already have good Dps. I don't believe you could get 2 MSEs with a prop mod on any of these ships do to power grid\cpu restrictions but that utility mid would be very helpful.
