I really wish people just give it a chance, i think CCP did a great job. Some people just dont like change though.

It will work for now. Based on the DevBlog up on EveNews24 it seems that all my main issues are on CCP's radar and will be dealt with soon.

This pleases me.

Seeing as all those who are having issues with the UI are apparently failing, how about we start looking at specific instances where the old UI appears to have been better than the new one and suggest new, equally time/click efficient ways of doing things. If anyone has a solution for this issue I'd be thankful.

1 issue I've had so far with unified inventory.

Looting:
Before I could have the wrecks populate in a separate window from my cargo and have that window add tabs for each new wreck opened. This made looting easy as the loot all button could be used and the window would move to the next wreck, allowing you to loot it without any additional inputs. This cannot be done now as the stack for the wrecks cannot be actually separated from the cargohold, and since the UI defaults back to the cargohold after each can/wreck is emptied the next wreck must be selected manually from the list on the UI window.

I love it, but I'm not in love with it. Blink

The filtering/etc. features are nice, but the fact that the target points for drag and drop are tiny is astonishingly terribad UI design that should've died last decade.

CCP did a great job with the new system. And it will be improved further.

The old system was clunky and belongs in the past. Please keep the new system and improve it instead of any dumb opt outs!

I really wish you simpletons would get it through your skulls we have it already given it a month long "chance" on testserver, but I guess we are just both going to have to really wish, eh?

I am right on the boarder of loving it. There are a couple little tweaks that need to be made to it, then I will be 100% on board. The big thing I would like to see is, when you open a second window I want the inventory tree to be on the second window as well as the main. But the way it is now is a giant improvement over what it was, and I am willing to adapt because I know it will make my Eve experience greater in the long run. I also love being able to open my entire inventory by just opening my cargo hold. But as a researcher/inventor/manufacturer this new inventory is so great.

As a manufacturer the new inventory system is a God send. It is so much easier to move mats and BPs between different corp hangars now. It's just going to take some getting used to. Anyone bitching about the new inventory system has the IQ of a rock (a really really dumb rock). The new system involves a lot less clicking, and a lot less time searching for stuff. If you can't learn a new system that is simpler and more self explanatory in a few weeks (regardless of how long you have been playing Eve) there is something wrong with you, not the game.

cute, you think you know better then everyone, that makes you god yes? I have questions

Hi, I play eve.

I sit in station and spin my ship half the time while o7 o7 m8 m8'n my ship spinnin corp buddies.

I've got a rookie ship in the hangar, a few cool items I picked up from the training missions, and I'm totally into eve.

All you whiners just don't like change. There's absolutely nothing wrong with the UI.

All you simpletons out there complaining about how its making POS management and mining operations harder are just stupid.

I am the new eve demographic.

Fear me.

wow, the OP felt a great achievement just by being able to find ammo for a corpie, you must be very exeptionally .... not being able to find it with the old system.

So meny brainwashed people, how sad, bulid shrine in own house and prey to CCP for more wired things, You cant understand while you using new UI hangar you need focus more on every sigle operation and you waste own time?

You need fucus more on own inventory while you want sell buy, draging items etc, it looks more organized and logical but is only your brain ilusion, you need focus more on this thing to do some simple actions!

What the point of having in left corner a huge list items that you alerady got inside hangar while they all alphabetical sorted! Do you really need two ****** informations about owned items?

Personaly i plan to use orca with SMA and fill like 40 secured container with full of ammo and never dock again because while i have to deal with new hangar im confused.

Im sure CCP got good intentions they want imporve own game, they want give us best things that make us happy etc but they do this by wrong way.

Liking it so far. Much faster for what I need to do.

Open Inv. Shift-select items. Click+Hold. Move to the name of the destination container. Release mouse button.

No more right-clicking several times to open up all the containers I need beforehand.

Plus I don't have to have windows open over a full third of the screen, leaving more room for other things like Overview and Local.

I'm even leaving Giant Secure Cans in my Industrial for trading now, it's so fast now it's worth it for the extra cargo space.

I imagine those with large inventories might have more trouble, but I'm sure it'll get better with more work.

I like it, for me it's also much more streamlined and intuitive, my usual tasks are faster with the interface.

I would love it without the lag- there is a certain threshold of items, after which moving stuff becomes terribly slow.
