Hi,

After working my way through most of the major MMOs on the market and finding them to be pretty much all based around the same rather tedious model (get to endgame and then spend ages getting endgame kit just to run a few raids) I find myself back at EVE. I have attempted to get into playing EVE on a couple of previous occasions but was defeated by the rather steep learning curve - I rushed through things far too quickly and tried to do too much and then became frustrated and confused.

This time I have taken a couple of weeks to slowly work through the training missions and spent time reading various guides on the Internet to give me a deeper understanding of the game. I still consider myself a total noob and I very obviously have a lot to learn. Having nearly completed all of the training missions I am nearly ready to venture out into the wider world (universe) of EVE and I think it might be even more fun to have some friends to help me along the way.

So, I am looking for a corp to join...

As mentioned I am a complete noob so people in the corp would need to be patient with my dumbass questions. :) I am certainly not looking for free handouts or anything like that (I like the challenge of a game - wasn't Skyrim just too easy?). I am more looking for a friendly corp to help point me in the right direction so that I can become as useful to the corp as quickly as possible.

I have never really been into PvP in any game (but EVE could change that) and at this point I am more interested in focusing on Mining and Industry at the moment.

I live and work in the UK so on GMT (or BST at the moment) - unfortunately my job and my better half put limits on the amount I can play but I generally get at least an hour a day to log on and a couple of times a week I'll be able to put in a proper session. So I don't think I'll ever be a hardcore player.

I guess the main thing I am looking for is a corp of people that are a good laugh and aren't going to put too much pressure on me to play the game a certain way.
