+1 its driving me absolutely nuts....for fun try mining with multiple characters or compress stuff with multiple rorquals...you'll find out quick if you haven't logged in yet...

edit: or even better try setting up a pos right now lolzzzz....im so tempted to not even log on until they either bring it back to the old way or give us the option to at least choose...like lolcaptainsquarters

What can i point out that others have not already in this about the new inventory crap......doing anything at a tower is a hassle now especially when you have alot of mods attached to it. Who in the hell decided it was a good idea to remove the ability to open multiple windows?! It would have been nice if they gave us the option to try this crap system out then if we didnt like it turn it off. I think someone stated "this is almost unplayable." I really have to agree. i really hope they hear our crys and revert or atleast give us the option to use the old way....

I am kinda used to work with multiple windows, many overlapping. This feels like going back to VMS via a terminal.

While you are at it, could we get a text only UI?

This new inventory upgrade really sucks for miners also, i operate 6 clients mining and you've made it a real hassle. Not to mention losing my ship and items tab. What were you thinking CCP

What I do not understand in general is why most CCP "improvements" kill the former way of usage.

Would it have been a major problem having the inventory alongside single windows options? Even our beloved Windows OS is still able to do that (Explorer + single Windows).

Reminds me of Incarna when the Captain's Quarters was not only offered, but actually erased the hangar view (erased it so badly that it had to be rebuilt - and badly at that - anyone who has had a closer look at the Amarr landing pad will know what I mean...).

I mean, I will not quit over the current changes, and I will certainly find some use for them, but well. There are features I personally have no need for.

Okay, it's progress, change is not already bad. And I bet there are a good deal of those stereotypical players that rejoice because of the inventory (being stereotypically ladden with stuff that has never been sorted through before - sorry couldn't resist Blink ).

TL;DR: Not impressed, not quite angry, basically meh...

Yes this IS a BIG pain, makes mining and ratting a headache, needing that big window open to check ammo amounts. AND the way it pops up every time you jump! C'mon CCP!
