You changed stuffs in the eve ... omg ... it's all ... different ... and I'm not used to it ... oh god it's all ruined ... how could anyone ever adjust to not having inventory windows everywhere ... and there are some minor bugs in it ... and everybody knows that once you release computer game code it can never be fixed or changed ever ... and *head explodes*

Yeah, I'm mad bro. I'm mad at all you pissy little ingrates that can't give something more than ten minutes use before you feel the need to rush to the forums and whine and ***** and moan because ccp is trying to improve their game. I really hope the devs who put a lot of work into this expansion don't read any of your pathetic gibberish. Next you'll be complaining about lack of dev responses in your threads.

I keep falling into the trap of thinking that because EVE is such a harsh and unique gaming environment that it's player base should have, on average, a little more sense and a little more appreciation for a company that goes against the grain of the theme-park infested industry to bring you this unique experience. I know I'm just seeing the usual vocal minority that pops up whenever something is changed to declare it the end of the world ... but god you people are annoying. I hope you're so upset you leave the game. We'll all be better off.

Am I too worked up about all of this? Certainly, but not nearly as worked up as people are about "omg inventory window is different." I thought I'd throw some drama and tears and gnashing of teeth the other direction to help keep things a little more balanced.


CCP, if any of you are reading this, thank you for all of your hard work. Thank you for your commitment to improving this game that brings me so many hours of fun. Everything I've seen so far is great stuff ... a few minor things here and there that may need a tweak, but that is to be expected with any big change. I can't speak for anyone else, but I appreciate what you guys do.

They also broke the inventory for wspace. If you have 5 hangers in range of your ship, have fun picking the right one from the list.

Must be a heavy burden being the only one who understands.

Maybe you should actually read up on the wealth of feedback that has been given on this topic and which has been dutifully ignored before making a fool of yourself. It is not a matter of being different or not being used to it — in fact, chances are that the people you're whining about have used it far more than you have and know it far better than you do.

The complaint is about a reduction in functionality and efficiency — the two things a good UI should provide.

…or maybe you liked it when they replaced the hangar view with the CQ as well?
