Remember EvE is almost 10 year old game and is still at stable condition, and CCP deal with low amount of subscribes while we compare EvE to orher MMOs, fact meny other MMOs land in graveyard after short time after relase, Star Wars: The Old Republic online lose around 400.000 subscribers in march form total 1.7mil subscribers that a huge lose in short period of time while EvE always got solid number of players.

However mass harassment may change total amount of subscriptions espetially if 20%-30% of gaming community play mmos only for pve resons, and they dislike if somone haras them or block thier goals or ablility in game.

Ps. In EvE is more easy to lose own subscirbers than get new people, and CCP know this, for sure CCP minitoring all mass behaviour in game and if they allow some events they sure this wont affect total players subscription buy maybe im wrong...

Maybe just maybe it had something to do with the whole east cost USA having a beautiful Sunday. No, they sold 1,7 to consumers, 2,1 or whatever to retail. Out of those 1,7m "the majority" created a sub. Out that "majority" a "majority" then payed for a sub after their free month that came with the game. What that majority is we might never know, it took 5 years until Sony Online Entertainment told anyone the real number of subs in SWG. All I can testify is to that, I have never seen a game with supposedly more than 1 million players and every server is green/light and at release when they were full, full=1000 players Roll

Latest now is to count free trial weekend accounts as part of quarterly player-base.

I thought the buddy program was so that you could invite friends, get a PLEX from CCP when they subscribe and then get all their stuff when they realise that Eve requires effort & planning.
