Average FPS during fight at the gate in Poitot, with brackets disabled - Zoomed out: 15-28
Average FPS - Zoomed in: 5-9
On a scale of 1-10, how would you compare FPS and performance between this test and TQ? (1=way worse, 5=same, 10=OMG this is awesome) 4
Did you experience any disconnects or crashes? 4-5 node crash

About time dilation, guys I know that really talented and professional people are working hard to solve problems related to large fleet battles, but I think this feature only add more feel of "lag" than real solutions.

Average FPS - Zoomed in: 15-20 fps

Did you experience any disconnects or crashes?: Yes there were a couple of hiccups prior to the start of the test
Describe your experience, make comments, suggestions, etc.: other than the bug with weapons I actually noticed an improvement in the performance of my own machine while playing, tidi is a neat feature, and while when it hits 10% or lower it becomes highly frustrating when your weapon countdowns aren't showing and your guns aren't cycling, I enjoyed the fleet battle even if it was one sided

  • Describe your experience, make comments, suggestions, etc.: An indicator telling you in percentage how dilated a system is would be nice; other than that, **** looks awesome. (Apart from modules not working)

So I got on and tested the new cyno effects. I was just started the game when the old ones dissappeared, I remember seeing one once, but I wasn't in a cap ship back then. While they did look cool, they always bothered me somehow, I think it was the graphic not lineing up with the way the ship came out, something like that.

Anyway, the new ones! I like them, vast improvement over the current ones. I would really like to see a whole fleet jumping/landing at once, that's where you'll be able to tell if it really looks nice. I did have a reason for mentioning the above. 1) I really can't compare it to the old ones, but to me they are at least on par with them. 2) Something about the new ones bothered me as well.

When you jump out, there's an animation like a gate fire kinda thing, a little ball of energy/light goes shooting away from your ship. I have nfi if this goes shooting off in some pre-determined direction or what, but mine went off in the direction of a gate. It seems kinda random to me. Same thing as with the old ones, it just doesn't line up with the direction your going/coming from. I think it would look better if flashed out in the direction the ship was facing (forward for that pilot), so it looks like the ship is entering hyperspace or some such, instead of out my left side.

• Average FPS - Zoomed in: 10
• On a scale of 1-10, how would you compare FPS and performance between this test and TQ? (1=way worse, 5=same, 10=OMG this is awesome) 3 (would rate higher except for disconnects)
• Did you experience any disconnects or crashes? 3 or 4 lost track
• Describe your experience, make comments, suggestions, etc.: Lots of lag, got logged off 2 or 3 times (think we all experienced this) Everytime I jumped or docked my cargohold sprang open - could you fix the lock on this thing? I am spilling cargo all over. BAN THOSE WHO POD DURING TESTING – it serves no purpose. This test seemed very rushed and disorganized, the one on Thursday went much better.
Unable to use Powerbook with other paid character on this test (worked fine in Thursday test but couldn't keep it online during this one)

User exp:
Didn't check FPS but it was running pretty smoothly most of the time so I guess it was >30fps.
Had about 3 crashes prior to the test and 2 during it. Node failures I was told?
The whole non-cycling of guns and no visuals on turrets (I checked i had them on) was a shame as I had brought a rev along. Rest of the modules were working fine - siege autocycled into 2nd cycle (had left it to do so on purpose), SB showed cycle time. Didn't use the repper.

Character sheet kept coming up on entry and exit from station.
