@CCP change FW standing for entry

SO, if your standing is positive then you can join because 0.5 standing is pretty difficult to achieve corp wise.. Our corp wants to join FW but we don't want to carebear to do it..

Well some of us make isk via trading / wormholes / mining

We don't mission, its boring for the amount of effort required.
Why should FW be tied to those who only mission?

There are other ways of raising your faction standing without missions, of course.

Besides, you'd think - if you were a group of dedicated traders, as you say you are - you'd at least have some standings to reduce your broker fees, right?

Just had a thought - any standings you have got are probs with Caldari Navy, so that you may suckle from the Jita-Teat

Kick some of the dead weight alts and if the rest do some NPC missions it should be easy to be done in a day.

When part of the militia it's easy to gain enough standing so a few neutrals won't dip the corp standings too much.

I've been waiting for the first whiny thread, about how its soo hard to get up the standings to access FW, and how nobody can be arsed to do it, because they think they're too good, or they deem it's not an efficient enough use of their time. My response, is an oft used one, frequently hurled at carebears: HTFU.

I am after all a paying customer, maybee CCP should make it so you have to have certain skills trained to dock in Jita's station to trade.

well im sure ccp are introducing ways of increasing your faction standings other than grinding missions

it was something to do with tags

any one can confirm this?

Look it this way, PvP doesn't need standings, just joining FW that comes with i'ts own reward does need standings, just as good refining in stations need standings. And thet's not all! If you want low fee's or set a POS up in highsec you need standings too! keep in mind, the R&D agents also need standings to get the good ones, so does the use of the good locater agents.

And if you think that's harsh, let us not get on Nullsec, where you need standings with an alliance before you can even dock at one of the player build stations (I'm aware this is a different kind of standing, but this is one standing you can't grind for, you either got to pay for it or earn it)

In light of all that, the low standing for FW is a really minimal barrier to get in. It's mainly to make sure that if you join FW, you & your corpies at least all elan towards the same side.

So a faction should let people with - standing join to fight for/with them? Or just learn a skill?

Also, confirming you need + standings to enter lowsec.
