I don't understand why anyone would pay to be in a corp let alone pay 500mil. My limited brain functions does not allow me to comprehend the logic in that.

One day I may apply for goon membership, if my current corp ever falls apart.

But you know, it will never be worth 17.50$to join a space pixel guild. Maybe 10$, if I am bored, but not 17.50$. I have limits after all Lol

He promised to be online when I logged in today because I was going to pay another 1b and get my application accepted.
Do you think he is answering? Of course not.


So here I am without any ships and no money and with NO way to contact any Goon that can answer me directly.

I just got a threat from Valtaric himself, against me, a poor noob that has been playing for 5 months.

This is not a scam, you were merely relieved of your assets in a preventative measure to ensure that some scammer does not take them.

It is well known that Goonwaffe became the biggest corp in the game by never recruiting anyone and scamming everyone.

These threads have nothing to do with the fact that not everyone is allowed to join us, or that we pull stunts like Burn Jita which just makes pubbies mad, driving them to the forums to slander us in a sad attempt to retaliate.

OP, if you didn't get in, it was probably because of your corp history, or something you've done in-game. I suggest you talk to an OFFICIAL recruiter, and make sure they are who they say they are. If you know who scammed you, then report it to someone who can actually do something about it, instead of broadcasting your foolishness to the entire forums.

If you really want to join Goons register an account on somethingawful.com. Then jump immediately to the recruiting thread and post there Pirate. Everybody knows Goons only recruit SA-Forum members. BTW, don't bother with the wall of text in said threat - just post a friendly hello. Oh, and don't forget your welcome thread on the GBS subforum ;).

Why? Ship reimbursement, excellent ratting and mining systems, membership in a huge alliance, ops running literally around the clock, huge independent market, and a leader on the CSM. We're also one of the biggest and richest corps in the game, so you're pretty much free to do whatever you like, be that ratting, pvp, mining, industry, anomalies, wormholes, pretty much anything you like.

Believe me, events like Hulkageddon and Burn Jita are a lot more fun when you're on the giving end. Sure, we upset a lot of people, but pvp is the nature of this game. We don't play the game the way everyone else wants us to, so they come here and slander us as their only means of retaliation.

Despite what the whiners on these forums say, we do recruit, we could hardly be as big as we are if we didn't, even recruiting from the SA forums. If you actually want to have fun in this game, I'm an official recruiter, so send me a message and I'll be glad to help you out.

Or you can simply stay in tiny highsec corps, making sure to log on the required number of times per week, doing your required CTAs, ratting frigates, and mining veldspar like it was your real life job, making in a month what your average goon does in a day. At least until some Thrashers show up and destroy your Hulk.

Do not be fooled by this arguement.. Most of the people recruited into goons came from outside the eve gaming community. Mittani himself explained it best when he was asked about the recruitment scams, "of course they are scams; we don't want any new players, we have 8000 now.. we don't need new players."
