The CSM was suppose to be about helping CCP in the development of the game. Lately it has been about meta game, both in and out of game, and all about certain individuals and corps. The game does not revolve around them. There are thousands of players that try to enjoy this game. With the actions of the latest CSM, since day one, it is clear that they have no interest in anything to do with the game that doesn't involve their own interest.

EVE is a bad game. The meta game is its only redemption.

PS Not to put too fine a point on it. The word you want is "dissolved."
IF "desolved" is a real word, the CSM is already that.

Saia isn't a Goon. Saia is about as far from being a Goon as you can get.

Remove the whole IDEA of CSM... it's BS anyways. Does not work... failcarna anyone?

What we say (and the csm says) does not matter we know how to get what we want... UNSUB... CCP listens to nothing else.

Incarna happened because CCP didn't share vital information with the CSM. It was a failure on CCPs part, not the CSM. This is a failure which has been fixed.

Wasn't it CSM6?

CSM7 might not be terrible. At the very least seeing Issler freak out whenever another alliance belonging to a CSM member shows up in her space is worth having them all there. Cause I'm pretty sure none of the other CSM Delegates respect her at all. Probably even less respect than they have for DIII.

So because they bully her as a group, that makes it right, and them better or something? Cute, I think

I agree with this. It works for most other games.

Politicians are always going to push their own agenda, no surprises there. I don't trust an entity whose interest lies in how much fun or ISK, they can have. CCP and a community liaison have an interest in making a balanced and fun game for all, because they know it will bring in more money in the long run. I don't believe any CSM member really cares about things outside of their own interests.

They actually addressed this issue in the townhall meeting. They were very candid and straight forth with their answer and I am confident that the CSM is in fact keeping their CSM responsibilites seperate from their in game intities. This is good.

I asked them about this issue in the townhall and they didn't try to dodge or make light of this issue at all. That says a lot about the people on the current CSM.

Confidence restored. Big smile

Good. When we spotted your question we figured it would be a good way to clear the air for folks that might have had the same perceptions. In the end, we're all playing the same game and ALL aspects of EVE depend on each other to some extent. In-game "hates" are just that; once you have ~real talk~ with another player or go to a FanFest / other EVE Player meets it does a lot to shatter personal animosity about spaceship pixels. Smile
