Character trading & pricing

I did not wish to clutter up the wrong forum, so I came here.
I look, once in a while, into the character bazar and became curious about pricing. Obviously it is purely player driven, but I am curious none the less about the pricing versus skill points. It seems rather random in practice since some characters have lots of SP but are scattered between 100 plus skills. While others are more focused. Yet there seems to be no colletive pricing dynamic.... or am I missing something.

Any insight is greatly appreciated. Also: Happy weekend everyone.

that one is total sh*t.

to answer OP question, it depends on how the SP is located. as my boosting alt, I bought him for 9b though he only has 25m SP, that's about 350m /mil SP.

it's pretty much like our in game market, supply and demand. And how good the character is.

80m SP pvp character that dont have recon 5, logis 5 or dont have max support gun skill won't break 200m/ mil SP

Yeah, the aforementioned appraiser is pretty bogus. It'll penalize you for having SP between x amount and x amount. In my case, I take a penalty of almost 900 million because my SP is between 20 million and 70 million. Makes about as much sense as a screen door on a submarine.

If you know so much better, please share.

The OP was asking for factors that influence pricing. The appraiser has some of that information and what influences some of the pricing factors.

If the appraiser was "total sh*t", then it would not have the exact information you just quoted as some of the price influences. However, it does, so your post is "total sh*t."

IIRC - The 900 Mil is for not being focused, right?

Someone got ripped... their loss.

I see you also know about the on-line appraise because you password protected your eve character sheet, which prevents others from looking at the value independently.

Congrats on the sale tho.

It's a buyers program, plain and simple. Works great for those buying toons.
