The reality is this is not good for Eve Online in anyway. The events like this are driving the Eve population down more and more each year and each event. There is nothing OK or enlightenment with TOS when orchestrating mass grieving gank platoons to go around killing innocent and paying customers and ruining their game play experience. This is detrimental to the Eve Universe and when Eve goes belly up and there is No game for any of us to log in to you will all remember this post.

I will not be replying to this thread or coming back to read the gankers tears so troll ON till your hearts content.

Actually, it is people like you that make things like Hulkageddon popular. Your tears, your complaints, your endless self-entitled ranting on the forums is the very fuel that empowers the gankers to continue on their deadly ways. This IS something that CPP supports because this IS a player driven event that is completely within the rules of the game.

This is the fifth time this event has happened. It is not a surprise to those that pay attention, especially when it is often announced months in advance and CCP posts travel warnings. There are dozens of posts here and on other forums on how to reduce the risk of getting hurt in these events. There are dozens of systems where you AFK mine you heart out if you were to think it through.

While you may very well never come back to read this, hopefully someone else in your shoes will read it and the light bulb will go off over their head.

What I really don't understand and bare with me here..why is it suddenly decided that the Hulk event was even a bad thing? Or Burn Jita? Maybe it's because I haven't lost a ship to these events and never truly experienced pain within this game. (R.I.P first Vexor, I miss you. ;( ) But really..it's like..this is why I joined EvE, why is causing massive amounts of destruction a BAD thing?

I am sure the people like OP thought the same as you, then one day they started mining for ISK, somehow got stuck doing it. Since it is the most boring activity a person can partake in they started doing it AFK, some even started using a bot because it is just that damn dull. Then one day someone forced them to play the game again, the game they don't play but just logon to and click a button or 2 or even just to turn on the bot program to then return to their Skyrim (or insert whatever,) game for fun.

That was the final straw that broke the camels back, not only do they hate the game, don't want to play now you force them to do so!!

Sure they claim it is their sandbox too and to them it is fun but on the other hand the rage quit after losing 1 shipRoll I never rage quit Skyrim because I die once and lose a little. Why? Because that game is fun.

Yes CCP became complacent and messed up, but not because these events can and do take place but because it is so boring for a miner that one small thing will have them unsub.

It is a symptom, not the cause is what I am trying to say.

Greetings capsuleer,

The reality is the number of capsuleers in New Eden has grown year on year on year. I could source the data related to this for you if you are interested in the truth instead of more pathetic lies to push an agenda. Let me know and I'll provide that for you.

Dear thoughtcriminal,

Report to the local Commissariate or re-education camp immediately. EVE is dying.

Those hamsters that CCP keep burning out? They're keeping the life support going, not the server.

Eve dies more often than an Ensign in a red shirt, then comes back from the grave like Zombie Jesus.

This thread is now about Zombie Jesus.

Edit: No wait, better to keep things politically correct and declare that the thread is now about Zombie CCP.

Zombies are notorious for being hard to put down without a headshot or blunt trauma to the cerebral cortex, given that factoid, I'm sure the dead and ever so slowly mouldering corpse of CCP will be around for a while yet. P

Also worth noting is that zombies seem to be attracted to Bile, Zombie CCP should be no different.

Passive align is a myth, totally busted.

D-Scan + agility mods, now thats a winning combo in the not dying area.

True, he didn't say passive align, but have you ever tried mining properly aligned, even at base warp speed? Its annoying as hell, and your orca can't keep up.

Edit: random check out of your sig, and shift-click worked fine for me on sisi last week. Not that I *like* the new inventory, but shift-click worked fine.

As annoying as losing a Hulk needlessly in a suicide gank?

Not that annoying, but more annoying than fitting for some warp out speed and humping d-scan.

I also assume that people are smart enough not to mine in listed belts for this, but I didn't mention that before.
