Hello fellow linux users!

Short history;
I have for some time wondered why we don't have a linux channel for our game. Now instead of bothering what and if I just created one. My first thought was what network to use, the list was (Coldfront, freenode, quakenet). freenode kinda went away since this is a game and not a project, It did not fit in my mind.

Quakenet was nr one on list and Coldfront second however after thinking of using Coldfront since we already got #eve-radio and the testserver and not to forget #eve-online i remembered the post made by NTRabbit. They just moved their community from Coldfront to the server Griefplay so why not do the same?

So now I created the channel #eveonline-linux at the server irc.griefplay.net

This should have the same theme as the ingame channel some maybe got issues not be able to log in with the client, and also everyone knows that IRC is allot better than forum posts =)

TLDR;
No IRC, created IRC on the same network #eve-online uses.
