Public call out of all the Game Masters. (if they respond ill be shocked)

Also knulla is a profanity ( I'm surprised if it is allowed even as mild as that one is) maybe we should petition that and see which gets answered faster.
After all we can't have profanities in game or CCP might lose their 12yo ESPR rating. P

Anyway you're not entitled to anything except playing the game when you pay your subscription; since according to EULA CCP provides you service 'as it is' and having a queue in petition system is unfortunate but that's life.

Oh and I payed for EVE, I did not get it through a goverment program created collectively by people paying their taxes and thus financing it all.

I guess you don't care about what you pay for being a product by a private institution or by paying taxes then, I suggest you work on that or someone may take advantage of your innocence.

By the way, online experience may change and "ESRB" rating does not apply to it, only the content created by CCP.

You also need to learn the meaning of the word entitlement and read what led to its incorrect use in this context of the thread.

I said it before and I can say it again, do you believe people would pay to play EVE for 9 years if it took weeks for a petition to get answered?

PS: You do not get loyalty points in EVE or on the internet by being an ass.

Actually, yes, that's exactly what I'm saying. There comes a time when people need to have a little compassion, a little patience, a little humanity. Yeah, CCP messed up things financially. So they're struggling a little. Heck - the whole world is struggling financially.

Yes, it would be better for CCP to hire more GMs. However, right now, it seems that they just aren't able to do so. So petitions will probably take a little longer to happen.

Does this mean you need to rage at them? No. It won't fix anything. Just slip in a little note in whatever correspondence you want to send them, and go along your merry way.

All of us have failed to meet expectations at least once in our lives. Does that mean everyone should shun us? Nope.

Be a decent, patient person, and just understand that nobody is perfect, and nobody will always live up to your expectations - whether you pay them or not.

You are being unreasonable and the GMs already said they are hiring more because they need it, oh and asking someone to wait more is not a great answer. Especially when you got people with petitions that are more than a month old, yes the OP can most likely wait but many others are waiting a lot longer, so bringing this to attention can only be a good thing since we know CCP usually only does anything if players rage Lol

I filed a petition my first day here and I haven't heard back from them since (been about a week so far). Then I saw somewhere a dev posted that they were posting a wiki for most common questions because they had such a backlog on petitions, and, knowing the outcome of the French presidential elections, was able to continue with my life satisfied that world markets had stabilized for the time being.

OP and others also petition things that a wiki can not solve, but it is good you found out about the wiki for your problem, you also got rookie channel and help channel in the game and even a forum or 2 in which you can ask questions on things a wiki would cover.

And those elections were awesome!

We all know petitons system in some cases are bad and slow in other cases Gm-s are good and they respond ASAP, since 6 years i got both expirences with petitions some answers was after 1-2 weeks but somtime i got ansrwer to my petition like 5-15min after i wtote it.

Actually, it did not solve my problem. Lol It's probably something they can't help with anyway, I can't figure out how to get evga precision's overlay function to work in-game, it works in every other game, so I was hoping they knew something I don't.

I do not say they should not hire more people.
I do not say CCP is not hiring more people.
I say that the OP will be unhappy no matter how many more realistic number of people CCP will hire because he wants a very short wait time no matter what the waiting line looks like.
I say the OP should learn a bit of patience because else he will be unhappy everywhere.

As I understand it, each category has a queue of its own, and GMs are assigned to particular queues.

When you submit a petition, it is put at the end of the queue for that category. The more people ahead of you in the queue, the longer it will take. Submitting further petitions with alts doesn't help you any, because those end up at the end of the queue, and waste not only your time, but that of the GMs and other users.

Your petition is just as important than anyone else's petition within that queue - no more, and no less - and it will be handled when it gets up to the front of the queue. Until then, be patient and wait your turn, like your parents should have taught you when you were a kid.

I've never had any issues with the petition system, and frankly, the wait times are a lot lower than I would expect them to be, given the amount of self-entitlement that is rampant in the playerbase, and number of things that can (and do) go wrong with the client. I've still rarely had to wait more than a week, ever, for a first-response to my petitions - and I've never had to escalate either.

Be polite. Give them all of the information you can. Be patient. And stop acting like you're the only person whose petition is worth responding to: It's not.

The GMs work hard, every day, to try and help you and everyone else out to the best of their abilities. With the massive amount of abuse they take, it's a testament to their maturity and patience (and your lack of it) that they don't go postal on people like you.
