60km. With max skills and no drone mods, the max drone control range is 60km. Not 45.

60km. With max skills and no drone mods, the max drone control range is 60km. Not 45.

Range

Drone range on sub-capital ships can be increased in various ways. The base range is 20km. Scout Drone Operation adds 5km per skill level, Electronic Warfare Drone Interfacing adds 3km per skill level for all drones, not just EWAR drones. The range can be increased with a Drone Link Augmenter, increasing it by 20km per module. Drone Rigs increase range by 15km (tech 1) or 20km (tech 2).

This is a time I will concede, I was unaware EWD also increased for ALL drones.

If you want to be the ~elite skill solo pvp~ stealth guy, use a recon because the drones will eat your elite manticore. Then you can pleasure yourself to your k/d ratio all day while cloaked waiting for hulks to undock during a wardec.

Or if you want to be awesome, say f*ck the police and get a friend or 2 in catalysts and mow down hulks without a war dec. Not only do you get to be a p. cool negative sec status pirate, but you can still pleasure yourself to your k/d ratio because you're only losing a 3m isk catalyst and you are killing a 400m isk hulk.
