Returning from a 4 year break

So after taking a break from eve for 4 years I have decided to return. Unfortunately I'm starting a new character from scratch, I'm not looking forward to skilling up but it is what it is. I only had 8-9 million skill points on my last toon so I'm not too discouraged. I was always broke because I failed at PVP for the most part. This time around I plan on spending half of my time carebareing for isk and the other half blowing **** up.

So in a nutshell what has changed? and where should I look to start building my wealth?

Back from a very long break here too!

A new character with no SP will probably want to start with scamming in Jita mining as recent price increases have made this... not as bad as it used to be.
However you may get podded thanks to Hulkageddon, though not sure if that pleasure extends to Navitas miners too!

Oh, I almost forget PLEX!
With PLEX now, you don't actually need to mine or do any PvE for ISK if you have IRL money, not sure exactly when that was introduced though.

Yeah starting from scratch is rough on the wallet. I think I'm going to start by running missions--> to ratting---> to trading. I traded a bit the last time around and it held my interest and made ok isk.

Its looking like my brothers are going to sub back up too.

Eve is ******* great, so stoked to be playing again.

While you were gone we got better at scamming, stealing, killing, looting, raiding fridges, and forum trolling. You have some catching up to do son.

Ohh and BoB is dead not sure if you around for that, Walking in Stations suck don't turn it on EVER, people hate the Drake now as they see it as a I Win button, Tengu is also I Win button.

Welcome back, the good news on training back up is that the learning skills were removed.

Also if you like eye candy missiles are just about to become awesome looking.

If you ever are gonna buy a PLEX or GTC for €€ this is the time. One PLEX will net you 500M ISK or so today. That will ease your burden a lot in the beginning. Good luck.
