It's about camaraderie in this *!* fabulous *!* community.

Because at the end of the day, all EVE players are playing "hardcore" mode ;..;

Oh yeah, I forgot that comes out today. And I have a free digital download just waiting for me. Oh well, I might get to it someday.

You'd think they'd know what was required. They do have a LOT of experience at deploying games, updates, patches, and dealing with server issues.

CCP is owning them.

One of the bitter points of a good bittervet is the realisation that all those SP don't really do much, and that the newbie is having much more fun with what little he has. - Tippia

Because I'm raging at Blizzard, someone or something must die in EVE. You see there are consequences like a butterfly effect. Do you hear me IRC?

I wonder how many more decades it's going to take until coders finally learn to write good descriptions for errors... Roll

Wait, you guys are mad because a Blizzard game launch didn't go as planned?

Not being able to play the single-player portion of the game because their servers keep going down is BS (and yes, I preordered).

CCP, as much **** as you get around, here, at least you dont have error 37. This is insane. Your expansion launches are flawlwss compared to this crap.

HAhahahahaha

I don't think anyone will ever top CCPs epic expansion fail launch that was boot.ini Lol Sorry, just .. yeah no, CCP still get that title, at least for now. Did you miss the boot.ini thing? if you did I'll dig up the devblog, MOST EPIC FAIL EVER., So basically they added a line of code in to search the computer and delete a file titled "boot.ini" which was an out of date file that was used to boot eve. They replaced the boot.ini file with a whole new infrastructure., time to get rid of it for people that are patching instead of downloading fresh copy of eve.

So they have this line of code that says, search and delete "boot.ini" and well... that's what it does, that's EXACTTLY what it does. But somehow ccp forget that boot.ini is also the same file that windows uses to boot up. So.... 40,000 computers, all bricked in a day xD

I will never forget the lulz

I remember that. I found the whole thing hilarious, because I was on Vista at that point and the boot.ini problems kind of dont exist on it.

It was a stealthy CCP way of telling you to upgrade you OS.
