Wormhole Tales..

So yesterday, we ran our static C3 anoms & sites then my support alt jumped into an Orca to pop it & move to next.

Being a tad tiddly, I did a jump with AB on and the hole popped with Orca on the wrong side.

"No problem, this C3 has a highsec static, we've already bm'd it, just gonna be a haul back to our C2 highsec static."

So I jump out..into Horaka. Bugger. Angel highsec island.

OK, so I have probes, let's see what's about.

In Varigne I find an R943 - into a C2. "Ah, bound to be a highsec exit in there!"

So I jump in. Double bugger. It has null & C5 statics. But there's one dead POS at inner planet and nobody seemingly about.

"OK, well, *maybe* there's a K162 to highsec in here.."

So I scan.

I find a high-sig unknown, and warp to it at 100 and cloak. It's a highsec exit. At critical mass.

"Yay!"

I align to planet, warp, warp back and jump with AB on.

The hole pops behind me.

Outside, and now sitting within 5k of me, are two Orcas, a Vaga and a Rapier.

"Oh, sorry guys, were you popping this hole? Job done.."

I GTFO before they decide to do something silly..

Why are you worried if you're on the high sec side of the hole when it got popped? The worst that could happen is you get bumped. Or they shoot you and lose their shinies.

Well actually, the point is that I got out ito highsec and at the same time stranded two Orcas and two HAC/Recons who were popping the hole.. and if either of them had been inside when I warped to 100..

It's a Good Luck tale really :)

If they had two Orcas out and the hole was already critical, they were doing it wrong Lol

Nice story though. If it had been me, and one of their Orcas had jumped in and closed the hole, and no one else of them had been in there and online at the time, a rather hilarious situation could have evolved: I would have pointed the other Orca with the warp disruptor on my Orca and attacked it with my drones. Epic battle of the big-butts!

The tale of the Point

So there i am doing a C3 anomaly solo in my Navy Scorp - All going well no problems tanking and constantly checking D-Scan like a good lad.

Got to the last cruiser and i start taking alot more damage than i should from a upholder and check my overview to see that for some reason my tab is set to Mining! Switch back to PVP and see a Widow (OMG WTF PWND) sitting next to me torping the hell out of me.

At this point i start to worry and manage to get my drones on him just before the ECM kicks in, my shields are coping perfectly fine so far but i wont last long if any of his friends arrive. The Sleeper upholder starts targeting the Widow also and shortly to my relief the widow aligns and warps off.

My joy was short lived however as just as i start to warp 3 Tengus appear and start engaging me close range, now i'm defiantly dead! Or so i thought because 10 - 20 seconds later......I warp!

It turns out after a few lol's in local the Widow was the only ship with a point and the 3 tengus had forgot theirs (they were not happy)

My navy scorp is now in a station as a constant reminder of the entire events fail. Lol

You never noticed the big dirty bracket appear on your screen?

I will share and experience I had the other day....

I am scanning and chatting in one window with one coprmate and in another window with a second corpmate... far to much multi tasking....

So I have a lot of sigs to scan and I am just knocking them out one after another while chatting...

Next thing I know I hear this whoop whooop whoop sound... someone has locked me up and they have commenced firing on me.... I am like WTF...I am cloaked up how they are firing on me.... I am flying a helios with covert ops cloak.... somehow the cloak has been knocked off and I am exposed... my shields are melting quickly and spamming warp is not working as I am scrammed.... I even had a warp stab on the ship...
I hit my ab and align to the nearest object...still getting shot and my armor is going.... then I remember I was screwing around with the fittings and I had ewar stuff on it... I hit him with 2 warp scams and target disruptor... he loses lock on me and I warp away.... with 14% armor left....

I tell my corpmate in chat what just happened and he is like ... ecm for ladar targeting and wapr scrams on your helios.... that is outside the box....

I was laughing with him thinking about how this was my lucky day because I forgot to take all this stuff off after my last experiment...

I was just lucky it was a scout ship with only 1 missile launcher....
