Griefer VS Miner (EVALUATION)

Before i start, i would like you all to know i don't mine i have never mined i am a pvper, no not a 0.0 blob pvper but a lowsec / wardeck pvper. For proof My KB is here and yes my stats suck but so what http://eve-kill.net/?a=pilot_detail&plt_ext_id=1753075638

Griefers are constantly whining about how badly done too they are, you know the kind the empire griefers / ganker kind.
They whine that miners are ruining eve and that they should be made a punching bag because they mine... they got an orca blah blah so what you got faction warfare / t3 / tier 3 bc etc and are getting a big expansion coming up too.

The problem in eve is the griefers not miners, why you ask? well lets some it up shall we.

Evaluation

The Griefer

  • They mission to make isk, may it be on their main or alts
  • A majority of them don't pvp in low sec because there is easier pvp in high sec
  • They exploit so there is no consequences to sec loss in high sec with the use of the orca, thus pulling them out of low sec for more easy kills in destroyers.
  • They whine that low sec pvp is dead
  • They post tear threads on these forums about miners
  • They get something new in every single patch

The Miner

  • They mine all day, they like to relax in the vastness of space while they do so
  • They build stuff that everyone buys
  • They never go in low sec
  • They get ganked & war decked
  • They whine about it
  • They post tear threads on these forums about it
  • They rarely get new things in expansions but new blueprints to build stuff for the pvpers

I might have missed a few things, so please state them an i'll add them into it.

The Inferno expansion 22nd May

The griefer

  • New improved FW
  • You will get paid LP to PVP
  • The merc market

The Miner

  • New war deck mechanic means war decks cost more

Conclusion
Both gaming styles have their own ups and downs, but going from the above the miners seem like the little orphaned child who never gets presents. And the griefer children whine and get everything they want.

Now you will say it's a sandbox however a sand box must have rules, or it wouldn't be where it is today without them, yes ganking will always be allowed and so will mining BUT when ganking involves no penalties something needs to be done, else whats the point of concord? Eve is about industry, it is like a market simulator and war drives that simulator.

Now to those of you who complain about CCP turning into carebear online, please think to your self who the real carebears are.. The war deck costs hasn't nerfed anything it has just made it more difficult isk wise, lets face it the old 1 mill isk for a war deck was a joke.

What should happen now?

  • The griefers & miners will still carebear and whine.
  • War still continues, ganking still continues, eve still continues.
  • The 'pvpers' should continue to gank miners, but should not be allowed to constantly do it without consequence with the use of the orca.
  • Pvpers should stop whining about empire carebears and move their missioning asses out of empire to low sec to help solve the problem.
  • CCP should probably move all level 4 mission agents into low sec.

Final conclusion :)
The problem eve faces atm is the griefer, if eve was to die they would be the core course of it.
Remember PVP is everywhere but mining isn't.

You keep misspelling ganker, dumbass.

WoW holds your hand until end game, and gives you a cookie whether you win or lose. EVE not only takes your cookie, but laughs at you for bringing one in the first place...

Yes it is. You are applying your ideas to be accepted by the viewers. Everything EvE is a job.

The point of my post obviously went over that misshapen head of yours. And you can't apply to be a circus attraction on the EVE forums otherwise it would be the ideal recruitment spot for you.

TL;DR: OP is whining about people whining and proposing changes that solve absolutely nothing.

Interesting: Hide Corp visibility, look like a forum alt, proceed to create shiptoasts, see what reactions you get, than show Corp, reveal that you are the main for those who never bothered looking, show a decent killboard, (realistic one anyway for a real PvPer), and make a decent post with your analysis in it.

The only thing that I found truly revealing was the bold font on "move level 4 missions to Lowsec," which I gather is your true motivation behind all this.

I'm all for it. +1

I could care less about your troll post, I was pointing out what a whiner you are using the word griefer and how hopeless you are at posting anything remotely constructive.

What's up Mabel, is someone posting nasty things in your weaksauce thread, that's a shame, isn't it?

Let's see. The griefers win. All miners turn in their barges for PvP-fitted vessels. Lacking minerals all manufacturers invest in PvP ships as well. Griefer Heaven ensues. Ships are lost, replaced, lost, replaced until one day....

...you go to the shop and the cupboard is bare. There are no more ships.

Yeah, it seems the "EVE is for PVP" crowd's logic is supreme. It was there in front of us all along! The goal in EVE is Pods at Five Meters. We bump each other for a few hours and log out satiated and satisfied.

How stupid could we be for missing such an obvious truth? Thanks griefers, gankers, (whatever).
Our eyes are now opened.

And to think I've spent all this time training. I've got Pods to V.

If Im not mistaken, the merc market is for the Corp being wardecced. Not the wardeccer. At least thats the take away that I got from Fanfest.

Greetings capsuleer Dietrich,

Whilst I agree in principle, is it not more fun to sit on the war chair on the war deck, spinning your ship idly while sipping on a tasty beverage of choice?

The thought did cross my mind, lounge chairs on the war deck and a dry martini in one war while the pool help moves the little model ships across the pool. Might be too relaxed however and mistakes could happen during the wardec which would cost you.

You keep mentioning griefers. Do you not realize that griefing is against the EULA and will get you (not you specifically, unless you grief) banned?

Anyway, miners are nearly impervious to attack if they stop being lazy morons and actually learn to do it right. And it doesn't even involve a tank (cause we know a decent barge fit will not tank much).
