Sell Orders

I'm sick of trading but I have a lot of manufacturing infrastructure in place.

So what I'm going to do is offer manufacturing by the slot-hour.

You give us the raw materials, we produce the goods, and then we give them to you in exchange for the fees.

EDIT: now collateralized. You trade us the raw materials at the Jita buy order price and then include the deposit with the final fees.

All jobs will be priced as if done by characters with 5/5 Industry (I think they'll actually be done by characters with 5/5 industry, but some might only have 4) in a POS (0.75x time multiplier). So something taking an hour base will only be priced as ... I don't know whether they're additive or multiplicative. Either 44% of an hour or 55% of an hour.

The price is 300k/hour/slot for T1 production. If we can do it, the price is 800k/hour/slot for T2 production (if a skillbook must be purchased, half the price of the book will be added onto the fees).

There is a minimum order of 48 hours for T1 production (14.4M/slot), and 24 hours for T2 production (19.2M/slot), and it must be done with one installation (so you can't have multiple blueprints used in a slot.)

We'll have to discuss what to do about the blueprints and shipping on a per-job basis.

We are currently located in Lonetrek but we're trying to get something nearer to Jita, and another station near Amarr as well.

I was really excited until I saw your prices . . .

Basically you are charging 72 Million a day to rent a T1 production char and 360 Million a day to rent a T2 production char.

And you don't even haul materials for us???

For example you would charge ~250 million to manufacture 100 Capacitor Power Relay IIs (+ whatever the material costs are). Those sell for 80 Million in Jita. There are no T2 items that you could not just buy in jita for less than material + your production rate.


Drop the price to ~15 million per day on T1 and 25 million per day on T2, deliver goods to jita, and people might consider it.

15 Million a day does not pay for a plex but if you are using an entire account to do nothing but have a single T1 manufacturing char (which is max trained in less than a month) you are doing something wrong. A T1 production char is just a "filler alt" that you hope to make a little ISK off . . .

Lets try an example of Ammo. Something I would gladly pay Jita Buy prices for if it made my life easier.

Phased Plasma M is currently in short supply and is the most overpriced (in terms of material cost) of the T1 ammos.

Mineral Cost - 52.83 per/unit
Jita Sell Order Price - 147.17

Production time per 100 units - 4 minutes x .75 = 3 minutes per 100 units
One character with 10 production lines can turn out 480 K units per day
Profit on those items is only 45 Million and you are charging 72 million to rent your slots.
And that is on an item that sells for 3x its material cost.

For people to use your service you need to offer a service that
1) Is cheaper than just buying from Jita Sell orders
2) Is easier than just setting up a T1 manufacturing alt - YOU NEED TO DO THE HAULING
3) Market to stupid Eve players . . . while this is a great strategy in general perhaps MD (aka spreadsheet central) is not the correct forum to find eve's dumbest and dimmest (at least when it comes to marketing/manufacturing ROI)
