Is there still a Premium and Standard client?

Howdy, just coming back after a year or so away and had to re download the game. There used to be two windows clients. one for more advanced graphics cards that i believe they called the premium client?

Does that still exist or is it all one client now? I am not seeing it anywhere on the site.

Yes the premium is the new standard and if you click "Enter captains quarters" you get the premium content with pants.

There is just one client now, and you can choose the level of the graphics in the ESC menu in-game.

yes graphics levels are...

Low - Can listen to TV in the background
Medium - 120 db
High - Thermonuclear

And in the premium client, you can simulate high quality pants.

If you are running a lower level graphics card, you are out of luck as you are unable to play the premium content, without pants.

I'm sure you probably had access to pants during character creation, or did you?

WoW holds your hand until end game, and gives you a cookie whether you win or lose. EVE not only takes your cookie, but laughs at you for bringing one in the first place...

I too want no pants. Or Top. It would be nice to lay on my bunk as well. (give us an account option that says yes I'm over 18/21/whatever figures says you are mature/can vote/ are responsible and then let us see adult content.

For that really immersive feeling, when I decide I want to access the captains quarters, I want to see my pod ejected from the ship, fly to the balcony, open up and deposit me naked except for the pod goo onto the cold hard gantry. That would be immersive.

That only appears at random after a minimum purchase of dinner and a movie. You can use Tequila as a shortcut on the menu bar as well.

Mac client is clearly not Premium. I wouldn't say it is standard either though unless that includes freezing and crashing multiple times each session.
