Goons Broke the game and roaming PvP is dead - Nice One hilmar

So

Goons launch *burn Jita*, you kill off the drone regions (pretty much) - prices rapidly rise for everything and every player in eve gets shafted.

I.e -

To buy and fit a hurricane, full t2 now costs 100mil+ Pretty much
To buy and fit a raven pretty much costs 210mil
To buy and fit a tengu, sub systems the works 1.1bil pretty much

So... Nice ccp, u let one alliance muller the market.

So onto PI

In empire and low sec - pointless, in null sec - 400mil a month? pfft, whats the point

So onto roaming pvp

Our 5 man dessy gang went um... 26 jumps thru low sec, msotly dead and 29 jumps in null ending up in sclaidng pass - again pretty much dead

small gang pvp - never happens, u engaded 5v5 ends up with 5 v 30

Gang pvp - trying to force a fight

Pretty much every null sec region is dead, so unless u wanna do high sec grief crap, yah just dont get the fights


Tell me ccp and yes im ranting

At which point are you going to step in and sort this out?

Or u just gonna let eve die a slow death because u got dust coming?

Players can effect the game however they wish?

Seems like everything is working as intended.

This. Yeah, there are some jacked up things going on, and yes, Goons have led the pack in some hardcore stuff, but to lay the blame for EVERY woe at their feet is reaching without some serious, tangible proof.

I think PL's small gang is 1 Cyno bait drake and 30 titans or something like that.

Went through parts of low sec today and it was all but dead. Saw a couple of small gangs. Nobody was really messing with anyone. I think I saw some guy in a Talos podded after jumping through a gate - other than that - nothing.

So you can't throw away ships as easily. This is one of the better things to happen in a while, there should be something on the line in PvP, not just throw away ships, though if thats more your style I hear cruisers are pretty cheap.

really? I want to effect the game in a way that make everyone have to live in a pos and they can't mount guns...... Twisted

The truth is, CCP has failed to innovate content and boundaries and the players are able to optimize the existing system very quickly.

I wish CCP would focus on constantly expanding the sandbox, but instead they spend their time trying to refine core systems that will be optimized (manipulated) by the playerbase within 6 months.

Goons may actually be better game designers than the people on CCP's payroll.

Space is supposed to be vast, but Eve almost always feels small.

Tears will be shed and pants will need to be changed all round.
