Raising a different Faction's standing without hitting my main Caldari Faction standing

Hi,

I recently completed a simple Level 1 Courier storyline mission for a Minmatar agent in Caldari space, to try and raise my negative faction standings for Minmatar and Gallente above -5.0.

Upon completion of the simple Courier mission I found that my Negative Minmatar standing or -6.0 had improved to -5.94 (Yay!), but my hardwon Caldari standing of +9.69 has dropped to +9.68 (Noooo!).

Is there any way, aside from training training Diplomacy 5, that I can get my faction standing up without hitting another faction? Or is this just part of the price of missioning?

Go run missions for the sisters of eve , just dont do amarr/ caldari missions ! it gonna hurst your amarr standing a bit but not the caldari one , but it's gonna affect greatly your minmtar/galente standings !

After train Diplomacy level 5, might get up close to -5.00 Minmatar. You prolly have to take few hits to Caldari and Amarr for Minmatar and Gallente to get above -5.00 standing to not get attacked by their Navy NPC's.

After get above -5.00 standing to travel free (no Navy NPC attack), can do level 1 Sisters of Eve epic arc every 3 months for Minmatar and or Gallente to get their standings up higher with no hit to Caldari and Amarr. Can also gain back Caldari and Amarr standing with level 4 epic arcs, also can complete every 3 months.

Cannot be done. Any increase to an opposite faction will always result in a smaller decrease in the other faction.

blood stained stars arc doesnt give any negative standing hits to any of the 4 empires. the last boost is only positive

This is 100% correct. Do the lvl 1 sisters of eve epic arc. At the end, "work for" the faction that you want to gain standing with. The increase will not lower (or raise) the derived standings.

HINT: do this enough to get -1.99 faction, then you can do the lvl 4 epic arc for your negative faction for huge gains with no downside. Just STOP doing caldari storylines as well else you will lose your positive faction gains with Gal/Min.

Do a search for the "faction standings repair plan", it lays out how to see-saw your standings up between all of the empire factions pretty well.
