Is eve failing as bad as I think it is?

It seems like the online average is way down....by like 25 or 30%.

Hardly any of my old friends even log on anymore and my contact list goes back almost 7 years.....and I haven't seen alot of the old boys log in since last year.

Has it gotten to the point where all that money we have paid to CCP to keep Eve fresh, and that instead has been spent on a Vampire game....well, that and the ambulation that we have been promised for 5 years has finally allowed us to walk from the closet to the mirror....wow, yeah, I was completely impressed, but I long to spin my space ship in the station again, where it is only the ISK farmers and macro miners that still log in...well, that and the newbs.

CCP, you have lost me as a customer......you have failed all the gamers that got you this far, I sure hope you can find the same kind of gamers that want to play Vampires....erm, sort of.

PS, it took me 7 weeks to blow all my ISK on blink, but I did it, 58b to blink, and I won 65b back, which was spent on a plex and some failed scams.....you know, the 2x your money back...I think I may have done something wrong there, but hey, who cares, this acct, the last of 10, expires soon and I will not be back..

I think I found your problem.

Your sub money is for renting server time. No more no less.

Working as intended.

Troll 2/10. That is an incorrect statement, above.

We pay our fee to access the EVE service which includes access to the server as well as many other aspects that comprise the service.

There have been countless threads on paying salaries, etc. etc. Those don't hold water.

What is valid, though, is how we, as customers, believe we have been served for our monthly tithe. If we believe that the service has not lived up to CCP marketing promises (a legally relevant topic in some jurisdictions) or simply our own expectations, then damn right we are going to communicate displeasure.

To sit in silence is to be complicit in your own raipe. Screw that. Pirate

Eve is dying. slowly, painfully and incompetently. Only the true blind fan boys and those who enjoy trolling forums enough to exchange plex for game time to continue them to do so remain.

I propose we open up a new sub-forum titled "The Soapbox" or "The Shakespeare Theater" where all these people who feel the need to write these dramatic posts can go and frolic together.

No insults nor sneers. The way to communicate with an organization like this is with your wallet. While we pay, they don't care what we say. When we stop paying - that's when they'll react.

Like restaurants - maybe 10% complain and don't come back. 90% just fade away with no reason to see. At least you expressed your reasons.

Goodbye but do remember - the door isn't locked behind you so if you do change your mind/attitude, for any reason...

It's true that the old crowd is leaving, preparing to leave, or has already left, but CCP counts on pretty much different type of players to come... will they succeed in that is yet to be seen, though. Personally, I doubt.
