So, ive been subbed now for a long while, skilling up as best i can with a great corp, good people that for me date long back, but i have an issue.

im growing tired of the game and the content that is being put on the plate so to speak. >.< (oh no!)

So! im here, sat, probably spun my ship arround the hanger at least 50 times allready thinking what to do.. so what should i do?
Id like to do some major warfare, but probably lack the experiance and knowlege of the game to pull it off like so meny hardcore members of the community, Bountyhunting? i honestley dont know where to start!

So, yeah, any advise is welcome.

thanks!

Fleet warfare is the most fun you can have with your pants on.

Have you tried solo roaming and taking a shot of JD whenever you jump?

hmm sounds interesting, and somewhat deadly, if im looking to start learning to do solo roaming, PVP etc, the first lesson to being good at the job is to drop the shots id imagine, i can imagine some epic losses have occurred while under the influence

Didnt read your post but the headline made me think of...

"Here I sit, broken hearted.
Tried to sh*t but only farted.
Tickled my left, and then my right ball.
And finally jacked off.
All over the wall."

EVE is your own future. It is only as fun as you make it, so get to work capsuleer! Go on a daring adventures into the black emptiness and spin around anyone you see! Fly into stars and wormholes and space worm lairs! Fantastic encounters await! All you need to do is strap in and push forward.

Thanks, i understand that my future is my own, (this is a sandbox after all) im just reaching out to the community to see how others (who may have been in my position before) have moved into somewhat different lines of work.

that and its killing some time and boredom while im sat here doing bugger all!

Ya, the only way I'll ever quit this game is if I run out of videogame-worthy free time permanently. I've played for over two years and experience less than 25% of what this game has to offer. When you get bored, try something completely new.

I have been in your position, then I realized it is because I did not want to do any of the standard EVE things. I wanted to adventure! Adventure for adventures sake, no one's but mine!

If you want to explode people find some adventure exploder friends and do that. Never worry you are not experienced enough. You are an immortal capsuleer! The best thing the star cluster has ever seen. You have unlimited power and potential to reach any goal you set with sufficient effort.

The hard part is getting started, do not delay it! If you need ISKs to try some things, maybe for throw away ships just send me a mail. It is the most important thing that you do not stagnate. It will destroy you :c Never stop to think about what you want to do for long. Start doing something and then think! Fly through 0.0 telling everyone happy birthday while you decide on your next path! You will likely run into something that interests you while being productive.

The second most crucial element is friendship. Sometimes it is hard to find people to do what you like if what you like is not the goal most capsuleers have set. But there are many stars and you will fit somewhere! Priority #2 is to find people who do what you do. It is not fun to explode a ship if you have no one to share it with. It is not fun to find a deadspace mod if you have no adventure partners to tell your excitement to. It is no fun to skill up if you have no pod pall to express your eagerness with!

Do not fear the violent or evil people. They are just doing it for fun! Embrace it and play the role you want. Join them and smash the weak or play the hero and stop all the rudeness. Just remember it is not personal and the conflict expressed through game mode is what makes it interesting.

Do what needs to be done future pilot!

I should also add that the people are still the most important part of eve often, unless you like solo challenges. Even then, eve is more like an IM program with a game embedded some days. Find that social aspect, and then you never can leave.

Greetings capsuleer,

You may want to consider joining your militia. I have recently joined up with a corporation that fights against the forces of Amarr and the visceral thrill of hostile space is incredible. Seeing war targets in local, playing that game of cat and mouse with them as they seek to find you and you seek to find them ... it is fun.

And the systems for it are being revamped with some exciting changes on the horizon. The corporations you join can advise but you do not require a lot to get started. I've got a handful of Rifters and Hurricanes with a few special purpose ships and since moving to a lower security area (0.3) I find myself enjoying every moment I am hooked up.

This paragraph right here! I found myself in the same boat a couple of times. One after incursion events became the farm and live events stopped. I had the taste for epic fleet battles, and challenging combat, wanted more. So I started getting bored with my exploration, pve and small gang. Said screw it, I am going to find and join a major alliance with my skills. Was great. While trying to find this alliance or corp to join, I flew around goonspace linking ascii art Nyancat in local.

Second time was this week. Romanian Legion in my tz went pretty quiet. My corp, all but gone over past couple weeks from being always active just a short time before, and having a good time. I was getting the "why am I playing, nothing to do" and said, no! There is a new good corp and alliance out there somewhere, better than current. Found some prospects I am applying to now. New chapter again for me.

You have the spirit of an adventurer. A real true adventurer. Do not let it waste! This is the most wonderful way in which to participate in nothing. Doing anything to bring you into contact with more than otherwise would have occurred. The less afraid you are the more victories you will have. Victories of all kinds.
