Ok, so I am on a Mining Mission, Unfortunately, the ore I need to get at is blocked by a MASSIVE barren roid. So much so, that I can not when I approach the needed roids, I just keep bouncing off the big one without being able to get around it.
Is there ANYWAY to get around it besides just sitting there waiting for my ship to take 2 hours to bounce around this thing?

Orbit it at desired range, should take you away and then around the barren asteroid.

Double-clicking to empty spots in space to fly that direction works too. You may need to play with camera angles or zoom out to get to the spots that aren't space rocks.

Dependant on the mission area etc, coulnt you just save the location of a roid, warp out and then warp to 0 on the desired roid.

It looks like you are doing the mission with the massive barren roid that looks like a huge Turd.

When I did that in the past I used to start by moving around the left side of the Turd, and then travelling along its opposite side, mining the roids as I went. You will need to travel to the far tip of the Turd before you finish. Zoom far out with the camera to get an idea of the shape of the Turd. The big end should be nearest you, the pointy end should be furthest away.
