LF: Solo, HML, PvP, (preferably) cloaky Tengu

I'm trying to work out a fitting for my Tengu that I can PvP in either solo or in a gang with dedicated tackle. It must use Heavy Missiles (I don't want to train HAM's) and preferably has the covops sub so I can escape an unfavorable situation. This will be used mostly in lowsec (FW space most likely).

Any ideas?

You're looking for an "i win" setup. Hate to break it to you but they don't exist. You want tackle, but you also don't want to train for the higher damage weapons, and you want a "GTFO" ability (cov-ops will not provide that btw, one target lock and you're screwed).

Drakes on the other hand are a dime a dozen. So be prepared to get that answer a lot when you ask that question.

The only GTFO-ability a cloak provides is from an instalocking gatecamp. In almost every other situation being faster, more agile or (in the case of deaggro games) tankier provides a superior means of escape.

Or having 2 Falcon alts, but that's pretty damned gay.

a Covert Reconfiguration Tengu with HMLs does somewhere around 350 dps. (3BCU, Scourge Fury, which is already being generous)
An accellerated ejection bay setup will do something around 2x that.
Get a drake, if you need to do such pitiful damage.

The most effective solo tengu fits I have seen have been the 100MN AB fits. But if you have to ask for a fit you wont be able to fly it right...and its going to die. Fly this drake solo or in fleets...practice burning away A LOT...then go fit an 100mn tengu to upgrade.


If you are dead set on using a tengu right now. Go fit it with Cal Navy HMLs Cal Navy Hardeners, Cal Navy BCUs...erm Cal Navy Drones?...basicaly just put Cal Navy or some other faction infront of each mod, and come fly it near Enaluri/Nenna...that should be a safe place to test it.
