Thanks for all the help. it turned out to be the memory in the end.

And i need 5 accounts for my Leet pvp ofc.

1 for boost
1 for falcon
1 for priest
1 for netural scout and scanner

and one to actually do the killing.

:)

Dafuqs a "priest?"

adding ram won't help unless you use 100% of it with your clients.
i would guess CPU.

as stated before, use process explorer. Anything else is just speculation by professional gaymers.

thanks i did the checks and its the memory.

CPU is fine i have a super quad core. even with 4 accounts running it never breaks 20% of capacity
I dont normally troll, but when i do i do it on General Discussion.

Is eve using all my memory?

Seeing as you could not give LESS info... ya sure why not, see no question here worth anything.

Shouldnt you be playing WoT dumbass. You think it's so much greater than EVE yet you spend all your time here WTF.

I recall one night in a nightclub called the matrix, there I was... Mother of god there I am! Holy f**k.

I assume that you select the "performance" Setting in the eve client?

Shut down stuff like all drone models and explosions on clients where you won't need them. Run the windows in window mode and shrink them as small as they can go. These things will lessen the load that all those eve clients place on your computer.

Also... your an amazing PVP'er.
Falcon alts and space priests... win? Ugh

So op is a troll?

Also < no issues having 4 eves open and world of tanks running... so 5 games....

Infact if i put a eve or 2 into the taskbar I can even PLAY world of tanks at 60fps... (GPU cant do 4 eves + wot all on screen 2 + wot yes)

ANDDDDD

OP had no content...

A supercomputer is NOT the OP's pc.

A supercomputer would have no GPU... so um..... fail....

Running a p4, the mobo is going to be the issue as well your stuck with a p4 and a low ram limit...
Running a i7, ram would be the issue if the GPU is not the issue...

blah blah blah... waste of time no info = no useful reply.

You don't know much about Supercomputers do you? They primarily do their processing through multiple GPUs because CPUs are ineffective at processing scientific and most other data when compared to a GPU.

Shouldn't be surprised as you are either half troll, or all troll.

Let's just settle on the fact you don't know much about computers in general, or how games work, or even how to answer a question properly or formulate a answer from a query that contains more than enough data to distinguish what it is the OP islooking for as a response.

..nice name by the way. /sarcasm

Quote:
The term was popularized by Nvidia in 1999, who marketed the GeForce 256 as "the world's first 'GPU', or Graphics Processing Unit, a single-chip processor with integrated transform, lighting, triangle setup/clipping, and rendering engines that is capable of processing a minimum of 10 million polygons per second".

Stop trying to be a nerd genius, a GPU is just a CPU with a different architecture.

For the lol lol tards

One, I play wot, alot thx, was posting replies from my phone at work...

two supercomputers LOL @ being GPU...

While the supercomputers of the 1970s used only a few processors, in the 1990s, machines with thousands of processors began to appear and by the end of the 20th century, massively parallel supercomputers with tens of thousands of "off-the-shelf" processors were the norm. Supercomputers of the 21st century can use over 100,000 processors (some being graphic units) connected by fast connections.[2][3]

Stolen from wiki http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Supercomputer

As the price/performance of general purpose graphic processors (GPGPUs) has improved, a number of petaflop supercomputers such as Tianhe-I and Nebulae have started to rely on them.[28] However, other systems such as the K computer continue to use conventional processors such as SPARC-based designs and the overall applicability of GPGPUs in general purpose high performance computing applications has been the subject of debate, in that while a GPGPU maybe tuned to score well on specific benchmarks its overall applicability to everyday algorithms may be limited unless significant effort is spent to tune the application towards it.[29] However, GPUs are gaining ground and in 2012 the Jaguar supercomputer was transformed into Titan by replacing CPUs with GPUs.[30][31][32]

Yes some "supercomputers" now are using GPU's... SOME VERY FEW... the whole "I have a supercomputer" is pointless cause... pretty sure they got over 10 gigs of ram... I mean... we are also ignoring the fact eve... WOULD NOT RUN ON A SUPERCOMPUTER lol

Of course the OP never said a supercomputer from when... thanks for trying to troll but meh... sadly I do know stuffz.

We started off with

NEEDS SPECS OF PC

and we STILL NEED SPECS OF OPS PC

rofl.

Kinda funny how hard this is... OP is a troll, nothing more.

OP won't give specs
Op says it aint this, it aint that... OP has a super quad core...
Blah blah... MUST TROLL THE TROLL.

Very simple here... 99.999% chance the OP is ram limited, the question of specs still comes in as mobos (and now CPU's) have a limit... so... blah blah enough time wasted.

Anyone else got anything? lol @ priest... time to go back to WoW...

So what you are saying is, you are still stuck in the past. You do realize the supercomputers using CPUs instead of GPUs are phasing out right? Your quoted text even says as much if you bother to read it. I don't need a Wiki quote to know GPUs process better than processors.

btw, I can build a Supercomputer, and probably would if I had the money. I could fit it in one room in my house, connect it to the internet through two fiber connections, and leave out all the extraneous crap required by multiprocessor supercomputers to maximize throughput. It might not be as powerful as the ones that take up 40000 sq. feet of space, but It would probably be more powerful per cubic foot space req. by a factor of 10.

edit: also, fyi the question was, "Ive noticed that each client takes up a lot of memory? is this the main stress on the computer?"

I think that is pretty easy to read and I know it hasn't changed as the OP was never edited.

Also, I am probably underestimating the difference in processing capability a great deal. It could be a factor of 10, but is far more likely a factor of 100 or more. Depends on the density of the machines, processors in use, GPUs in use by comparison etc..

And a Corvette Stingray is like a haul truck with a different architecture?

I like this game Lol
